Enishi Moltepar
DIR By: kestral287
Date: July 20, 2011, 8:24 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
[QUOTE]Name: Enishi Moltepar
Age: Seventeen
Gender: Male
Look: Tall, thin, and fair-skinned, Enishi does not appear to be
much of a ninja. He dresses simply, in a matte black outfit of a
loose shirt, pants, and combat boots. A belt around his waist
holds his kunai holster, as well as storage seals that hold
everything else Enishi owns (which, to be fair, is very little).
The rest of his outfit is undecorated, purposefully cultivated
to be as nondescript as possible. Enishi himself is also rather
bland looking, with a face that always looks familiar but can
never quite be placed. Short brown hair matches his brown eyes,
which often seem to be lost as he focuses on another issue
entirely, one only he can ever see.
Bio: Most of Enishi's life was unremarkable for a member of the
Moltepar clan-- which is to say, totally alien to many. He was
raised to be a mercenary, to hunt enemies, protect clients, and
deal in assassination, spycraft, and even simple diplomacy. This
is no different from any other ninja, and despite not
technically being a ninja due to not belonging to any organized
village, he is trained to be one.
What was different was two things. First, he was trained quickly
to learn his clan's most fundamental techniques, the ability to
speed up or slow down time around him. Then he was immediately
taught to use them to learn. While a child of eight becoming a
chunin is a prodigy to any ninja village, Enishi hitting that
mark's equivalent was only average for his clan, as he could be
taught at twice the speed of any other child.
And in fact much was done at that doubled speed. Training did
not stop there, did not stop ever-- Enishi went to classes,
returned home to his parents for additional training, went to
sleep for a scant few hours, and then returned to his training.
The work was exhaustive, difficult, and brutal not because it
was dangerous but because it was continuous. It was also
entirely necessary, as a half-trained Moltepar was a danger, not
an asset. It was here that Enishi aquired his serious,
hard-working personality.
That was not to say that he was isolated, as there were many
other children his age that he could play with when he found the
time. Nor was he unloved, for as an only child of a clan Elder
and one of their best medics his parents were always safe and
always ready to support him. But there was always that ominous
cloud over his head: that reminder he was a Moltepar, and that
he must master his powers.
Time passed, and his skills grew rapidly. He was content to live
as his clan did: he would become a full member, he would take
the missions he was given and execute them swiftly and
honorably, and eventually he would fall in love with a woman,
get married, and have a child to repeat this cycle. Destiny,
however, did not seem content to allow him such simplicity. On
his fifteenth birthday he recieved a dream, one that is burned
into his memory. A woman's voice, faint, chanting a mantra about
freeing the clan treasure. He told nobody, passing it off as
just another random dream, but he had it again. And again. And
again. Still he told nobody, for fear of bringing shame to his
family. Instead he continued with his training, passing even the
final test perfectly. He rose the next morning with the dream
fresh in his mind, but now he was a full clan member, able to do
almost anything he pleased as long as it did not damage the
clan.
He headed to the Elders' chambers, where he was expected to ask
for his first mission. Instead, he asked to be granted a leave
of absense, to travel the world and train further. No reason was
given, and none was asked. But his request was granted, and
Enishi packed up his things and left the clan's lands. His dream
had shown him the way, shown him what he needed to do. But to
accomplish his goal he would need training in things that the
Moltepar had long since forgotten. He would need to learn the
most famous of ninja abilities, the power to wield the elements
himself.
The first stop was Kumogakure, where Enishi learned to bend
lightning to his will. He utilized his own powers to take on
missions for the Cloud, and was rewarded with the knowledge he
sought. Most of this knowledge came from his official
instructors, but his most precious did not. An aged man, a man
who claimed to be a legend in his day but admitted that his day
was long passed took him in, training him in some of the most
deadly lightning jutsus known. He mastered these jutsus and
asked for more, but the aged man-- who never once told Enishi
his name-- merely told him to return once his mission had been
completed. So Enishi left, moving on to his next village. He
spoke to the Mizukage and managed to secure a similar position
for himself there, working as part of Kiri's shinobi forces in
order to gain what he so desperately needed.
Personality: Enishi is, like most members of his clan, quiet and
grave. His power is great, but so are the dangers involved, and
any part of him that was devoted to pranks or jokes died at a
young age. Further, Enishi has come to respect that same
seriousness in others, and is not a fan of pranks, slackers, or
other malcontents. Despite that, it would be unfair to say that
he is always uptight and serious, and Enishi does know how to
smile and relax. Meditation is one of his favorite pursuits,
with reading a close second. He has an almost religious fervor
to learn, and is more than willing to teach what he knows (clan
techniques excepted) to any who care to learn.
Goals: Deep within the Moltepar compound lies a shrine,
dedicated to those who have served their clan honorably over the
generations. And on top of that shrine, a temporal field has
kept the clan's greatest treasure protected, both from the
ravages of time and the physical world. So long ago was it
created that nobody in the clan knows how to unseal the field to
unleash the treasure within. Enishi, shortly before his
promotion to a full clan member, was graced with a dream that he
believes provided the key to unlocking the treasure within. The
dream has reappeared every night without fail, hammering home
his resolve to do the impossible and free the treasure.
Rival: None, and not likely to gain one.
Village: Enishi, as a Moltepar, is not technically affiliated
with any clan. However, he currently resides in Kirigakure
Kage: See the above

[QUOTE]Clan
The Moltepar clan is not a traditional clan, but it is a
powerful one. Their jutsus are not passed down through blood,
but through training-- a huge amount of training. Many of their
members come from other clans or no clan at all, and in fact the
Moltepar clan was founded by members of no fewer than six
different clans (with some accounts claiming eight). They claim
no village as their own, and sit comfortably in the middle of a
neutral area. There, they act as mercenaries, working almost as
their own hidden village in that they hire their ninjas out to
where they are wanted and survive on that income. The Moltepar
tend to be contacted when political necessities force the normal
channels to be avoided, or when their unique abilities are
desired.
As for those abilities, well, that's where things get
interesting. Minato Namikaze was famous for his ability to warp
the fabric of space and time itself. Moltepar children can do
the same thing in their living rooms. Their entire set of
techniques is built around bending time to their whims, though
not without limitation. It is impossible to go backward in time,
and to go forward is extremely dangerous-- not only is it a
one-way trip, but if a tree decided to grow where you're
standing, well, you're dead. Instead, the Moltepar, known more
commonly as Timewalkers, have harnessed the ability to speed up,
slow down, or completely stop time. Once they were said to be
masters of more spatially oriented jutsus, like Minato's Flying
Thunder God Technique, but that knowledge seems to have vanished
with the ages.
The clan itself is lead by a council of five Elders, who are the
five most powerful members of the clan. All decisions are
enacted democratically among the council, and the clan obeys
without question. To disobey a serious order means execution--
the council cannot afford a rogue Moltepar spreading their
techniques, and so anything smacking of treason results in being
released into the Time Stream, a quick but irreversible death.
These deaths are a rarity, however, as the council tends to be
leniant whenever the clan is not threatened and its members
understand the stakes at hand.
Clan life is one of strict, constant training for children and
suprisingly lax rules for adults-- an adult being defined by one
able to complete their training rather than any age limit. Once
a clan member becomes an adult, they are free to do as they wish
as long as the council does not forbid them. Laws are simple and
straightforward, and can be boiled down to not hurting the clan
or infringing upon the rights of a fellow clansman. A Moltepar
is allowed to accept his own missions independantly of his clan,
but all earning should be shared, and cooperation is highly
encouraged among the group. Few are the Moltepar who will not
help a clanmate in need, and those few tend not to last long.
The average Moltepar is serious and grave, but not unfriendly or
unkind.
It's important to note that the exact location of the Moltepar
home is a closely guarded secret, and they tend to aquire
business through representatives in most major villages and
cities.

the ability to control time (to be fair can you feel these out
HTML http://narutorebirth.createaforum.com/kekkei-genkeiclan/
the
kekkei genkei only needs to be filled out if you choose to use
your time control as the bloodline) you can also just post your
characters main template as your sig

There's actually a reason for their Moltepar's clan techniques
not being a bloodline, though it won't roll around for a bit.
Not until I really get a chance to delve into the backstory of
the clan itself, which... probably won't be for a while. Enishi
needs to finish his education before I get to the fun stuff. As
for the sig, is the link acceptable? I figure it's easier to not
have all of that clogging up the page, but this keeps everything
nice and available.
I also discovered the pages with some of the jutsus listed,
which I hadn't seen before, and tweaked the cost of a few of
Enishi's jutsus (Body Flicker, Chakra Scalpel, and Illness
Extraction) to match what was presented there.

That's cool. The link is fine yes it was a good reason for it. I
was just meaning the template part not the explanations but it's
cool.
That works
