She took a few paces forward, counting each step, then made a
sharp right, hopped and then got on her knees digging into the
sand. "Did you know that both of our clans share a common
ancestor?"

Her face went read and she fell face first into the sand before
bolting upright and shoving him to the ground. "No, you little
perv." she sighed. "Before there was ever a Konoha. The Nigri
clan and the Senju were comrades. From both clans a single child
was born and he grew up to become the leader of the Nigri.
Recently, I learned that he may have been a Chosugon user." She
kept digging. "It was said he was the only one able to tame a
powerful animal, but because of a particular incident...he was
eliminated. No...assassinated by the Senju." She finally found
what she was looking for. A wooden surface. "Stand back."

She nodded her head, stood back and performed a sequence of hand
signs which caused the wooden block to surface from beneath the
sand to reveal an ivory coffin wrapped in thick branches. "I
learned this while I was a member of the kage's secret anbu
squad. It's the reason I insisted on being your sensei." She did
another sequence of handsigns and the branches unwrapped.
"Inside is a scroll. I think only a Nigri can use it."

"Wait...But I'm not a Nigri... What's in the scroll? Who was the
person? Why me?" The flurry of questions were almost too fast to
comprehend. The boy was confused as hell, an wasn't afraid to
show it.
