@Khalifa How many other genin know how to use Rasengan? That,
by default, makes Konohamaru at least stronger than most other
genin. We don't know much about his battle experience yet, so
it's hard to say how much stronger he would currently be. But
at least the prior statement is valid.

I'm sure we'll get to see Konohamaru when this war ends and we
can cut back to life in the Leaf Village and the surviving
members of Konohagakure who survived the fodder fights. I was
actually kind of hoping for one of those fillers to involve him
during that (what was it six month) hiatus of filler mania, just
       to show Kishimoto remembers him..

Kishimoto doesn't do the fillers ; he doesn't even storyboard
them or the movies. He is dedicated to the Manga and only the
       manga

       oh you're right
i was under the impression he could have a little say in
fillers so they never veer too far off track but then again
       that's all they do

this is only specific to Naruto and Bleach. Every other series
with fillers keeps them slightly similar to canon AT LEAST

and all we can do is rejoice when a flashback that goes on just
a little too long in a canon episode doesn't turn into a filler
       arc these days...

That's also true. I know when there is filler content and when
there isn't as I follow the manga (do you?) so that only really
       applies to anime only fans

Yeah I primarily follow the manga, and usually only check out
the anime when I have free time on weekends. Still, it's nice to
get some content in when that's all there is to watch instead of
something that's better off not being animated haha

The animation of Naruto is changing too much for me , the anime
have gone through too many animation companies to the point
where it looks like a kid has poorly used an eraser frequently
to attempt and fail at rubbing out the word
       Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious or
       Antidisestablishmentarianism

Exactly! Go back to the first episodes, of part 1... the
animation may have been a little messier, but I think it better
fit the theme and the mood of the show they were trying to
portray. It covered all the bases for what, 1999,2000? It didn't
need CGI or perfect moulds for every character. It didn't
actually attempt to show as little as possible, as the
dust-happy company they have now does.
I almost wish they'd go back to the guys who did season 1
just because it feels a lot more real, not in the literal
graphical sense, but it has that charm of being an anime about a
quirky ninja who dreams of leading his village
