Anyone else anticipating this game? I am, given that I have a
Chespin avatar, but I wished that mega evolution never happened.

gonna be completed on me at this point anymore hehe

I'm actually quite liking this game so far, made it past the
third gym. Many of the features seem pretty useless though,
given that the exp share you get early makes the game pretty
damn easy. Oh well.

The way the newer games seem to operate is almost like if you
aren't already a master at it, they're just trying to force
everyone to be one.. like it's too easy for veterans who had to
cowboy it through the originals, but it also seems to be easy
for newer players (if not newer ones).
I don't own a copy of either, don't get me wrong. But I have
seen a ton of reaction/feedback/gameplay etc. and it seems like
they threw in wayyyyyy too much fluff rather than a real cute
believable plot that isn't too deep-fandomish that you can
relate to

^I actually agree that Nintendo made this game too easy, it's
been a common criticism that Nintendo hasn't focused enough on
the veterans players since at least Ruby and Sapphire. For that
matter, they haven't focused on them in general since
implementing the Blue Ocean marketing strategy at the start of
Iwata's presidential era. But that's a thread for another time
when I'm in the mood to make it.

My Raichu would one shot it, like it was a fodder facing Madara.

1.) Ground types solo Lucario, low diff if only ground if
Lucario doesn't know surf
2.) I don't have my old save file, my brother wanted to play it,
and then didn't finish it. I'm now playing a Nuzlocke, but X/Y
are kind of bad to replay in any great frequency as I am
beginning to learn.
