       Governor Approves N1m Tuition Fee For Two Teenage Street Hawkers

       Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi has doled out the sum of N1
       million tuition fee for two teenage street hawkers.
       The girls who were identified as Ukamaka Ikema and Chimuanya
       Nwarie were said to be hawking on the street of Abakaliki after
       reportedly running into the governor who was inspecting the
       Akanu Ibiam roundabout flyover along the Transhara Expressway in
       the city.

       A statement on Wednesday by the governor’s Chief Press
       Secretary, Emma Anya, explained that the governor interacted
       with the mothers of the two children and after hearing the
       plight of the children’s parents, he approved N500,000 for each
       of them for the upkeep and tuition of the two children.
