Serrated teeth bore into the flesh of desire and untold
lust. Flesh being torn from the bone in sickening sounds of
bones crushing and being removed. Slurping sounded as long
clawed phalanges rapped across the ground, black canines ever so
noticeable as they viciously tore into the supple neck of the
disgusting creature she had captured for her meal today. The
Mother Goddess, changed so much, eagerly ripped into the flesh
like a starved animal. By all means, she was. Organs dripping
through the missing lower half of the woman she had captured for
her meal, damn had this woman had a bad night, hmm? She had
chosen to cross Amaya's path, something no one did even before
she discovered and let loose her inner blood line. Her father,
Artrillo, had warned her to be careful on this taste of
cannibalistic dreams. He didn't want her slipping into the world
of lust and carnivore ballistic behavior. Her mother, well,
let's just say she wasn't very keen on her daughter being this
way. Though there was nothing to change it. The goddess had
figured out who she was. Her lover, Dems, had known; their new
born son now ten years old. How long had it been since she had
seen him last? Her lover? Her son was well kept and Amaya was
one damn good mother, all of her kids were brilliantly cared
for.
Though for the day, she felt the strongest urges to devour
everything and rip people to shreds. Amaya's form slowly began
to revert back to it's more normal state. Black flesh turning
back to it's usual scarred and tattooed tan color, wings
returning to her spine as did her antennas, the two long arms
that were mainly used to capture her prey returned into her
ribs, and her bloodied form stood there as causally as the day
was bright. Once red hair now white for the most part, for now
anyways, she had wanted a change. So the strawberry scented
Goddess cut her hair and turned it white. Slender physique took
turn as she looked around, multicolored orbs dancing about in
curiosity as she chewed up the last organ she had in her mouth.
Blood dripping down her chin as the ribbon like aura flared up
and whipped around her like cobras waiting to strike. She was
ready, ready to face anything that came her way. Red ice coated
her skin, the deprivation of a good fight having only made her
desire for the flesh of an opponent that much more. Though as
the Mother Goddess, she would only destroy those that crossed
her path or deserved it for their ways. As the White Red Ice
Dragon, she would maim her opponent. As her father's Daughter,
she would devour the last soul of those who oppose her. As Queen
of Crystalia, she would no longer take things lying down.
Her civilization would rise again, the once red soaked planet
now returning to it's brightened blue color. The crystal like
core continuing to provide her with everlasting loving strength.
The woman had no bounds of existence. She was many things meshed
into one. Even her twin, even her sister, had discovered
herself; but had chosen to leave herself the way she was. Amaya
on the other hand, needed this comforting change. A slick
appendage trailed over her lips, lapping away some of the blood
as she finished the last chew of her meal. Her slender phalanges
twitching for a new victim to punish. Eyes narrowed as she sat
upon the wind, as a Wind Reaper, she often did not bother with
carrying her scythe. It was a hassle and she could manifest it
need be. Though she cared not for using this ability. She was
content with just using herself.

Ophelia was nowhere to be seen and possibly never again.
. . That was all that Serenity could think about as she wondered
through this strange crystalline land that held a strange bluish
glow. The weather was calm, yet held the distinct properties of
musky death. Serenity cringed a bit; having the misfortune of
being the type to faint at the mere sight of the oozing crimson
fluid. The smell caused her to shiver and hold herself while she
walked rather apprehensively through the shards. The natural
glow that her body emitted shone along the crystal, causing odd
glowing effects to be cast all around her. The colors that shone
was marvelous; even mirrored Serenity shone throughout the glass
mountains in various shapes, sizes, and even colors. The land
was beautiful, but oddly quiet; her footsteps even echoed, the
sound bounces off of various reference points, being distorted
and repeated several times.
Dressed casually in a button up sweater and khaki Capri
pants with white tennis shoes, Serenity wasn't really dressed
like a goddess. She liked it this way anyway; she felt more
comfortable dressed down. The scent of the drained fluid grew
thicker in the air, causing the winds to become stagnant and
very dank. The temperature also rose too as the steamy heat of
torn flesh and blood stained the air. Serenity took a deep
breath, trying to maintain her composure. She knew that blood
was around, but thankfully, she haven't seen any. . .Yet at
least. Though, something caught her attention; a woman, crazed
looking at first glance, was walking out from behind a crystal
pillar. Upon further inspection, Serenity could tell that Amaya
wasn't exactly all there, but held her composure to make herself
from where ever she was to where she was presently. Serenity was
concerned, but also weary of the stranger. She tilted her head,
blond locks spilling to the left, her sparkling eyes gazing upon
the white main of the woman before drifting down her face.
[glow=red,2,300]"Are you. . . Okay?"[/glow] She asked softly,
yet strong and steady.

The thickly scented air often twisted through her
nostrils to remind her of what she did. There was really no
sanity worth giving to anyone, there was no sanity worth having
either, though she held that sanity like it was the most
precious thing in the world. Clinging to it helped her know that
she was still who she was before the changes. Her children, they
were the reason she needed to remain sane. They were the reason
she had to remain as she was. Adel would not come to her rescue
anymore, or she thought that way anyways, Omega... He'd never be
able to help her again. This was certainly going to be a trial,
that much was clear. Multicolored orbs twisted upon the echoing
footsteps of someone else. How had they gotten here? How had
this person traveled to her home? She had captured her prey and
had brought it here. Nevermind questioning, that scent was too
familiar. Scrunching her nose, her tongue slipped past her teeth
to clear her lips of the blood that drenched them, only getting
some of it before she turned to face whom ever was addressing
her. Quirking a brow, Amaya kept dainty fingers pushed into the
pockets of her black shorts. This woman was asking if she was
okay? Yet she was the one covered in blood? Wow, this woman sure
was something else.
That much was sure, as Amaya crept closer to the oddly..
Illuminated, woman. That scent, it was so damned familiar.
Images, memories, long past from days of her youth, began to
filter upon her mind. Sanity returning even more so full blown
as she stared at the girl with the most intense observation.
"Hmm? I'm quite alright, m'dear.. I just ate, so pardon the
mess." She muttered, that sweet voice tangible in many degrees
of emotions being portrayed. Looking away from the girl for just
a moment, she raised her index finger to plump flesh and tapped
her lips casually in thought. Though as she did this, with each
tap, a bit of blood was cleared from her being and the land
beneath her. Soon enough, she looked like her usual sweet self,
nothing to fear nor be cautious of. Though as she filtered
through all the memories and thoughts, she came upon one that
disturbed her greatly. A pang struck her heart and bright orbs
dimmed slightly, lightly pooling with a very small amount of wet
sadness. "You smell like someone I use to know... You have a
natural borne glow as well.. Nothing can stop the light.. Feh...
So much for that saying.. I know I'm suppose to know who
everyone is because I'm suppose to watch over everything, but
you seem to slip my mind. Care to tell me who you are and what
you hail to?" She asked curiously, the stench of blood and death
finally having been replaced with the intoxicating scent of
strawberries.

Serenity's whole world began to fade; dimming from the
corners of her eyes onward. Her limbs began to go numb; the
feeling of needles pricking her flesh, millions of them all
dancing haphazardly underneath her light bathed skin giving her
that uneasy feeling. She slowly began to lose track of where she
was and who she was, even started to wobble a bit. This was a
good sign, however one wants to think of it. Instead of
instantly passing out, Serenity's body gave her a warning to
look away. Because there, blanketing the woman's body as if it
was a fresh oil painting, was. . Blood. So gooey and runny,
plastered upon her body like she just stepped out of a shower.
Serenity quickly turned her head to try and regain her
composure. Usually, the goddess would just drop unconscious on
sight. But, becoming a full fledged goddess must have built up
her resistance to the debilitating reaction to seeing
blood.
Or, it could have been the fact that Serenity's
peripheral was what caught the blood and she didn't see it head
on. Whatever the case may be, Serenity counted her blessings
that she didn't just fall faint because of it. Pumping life back
into her limbs as the numbness began to go away, Serenity
listened to what the woman had just said. Her facial expressions
told the tale of disgust and question. Was it really a human
that she just ate? Or did she catch a wild animal. But, what
wild animal's roamed this sterile place? Serenity thought no
more and cleared her throat. [glow=red,2,300]"Well. I hope you
had your fill.."[/glow] Serenity spoke lowly at first, but her
speech became more pronounced. Daring to look back at the woman,
Serenity noticed that the blood had vanished. Relieved, Serenity
took a deep breath and raised an eyebrow at what the woman had
said next. [glow=red,2,300]"Hmpf. You know? I get that a lot.
Why does everyone say I look familiar? Or have a familiar glow?
Did he get around THAT much?"[/glow]She questioned.
[glow=red,2,300]"Or maybe I just have one of those faces. The
cute little face that seems to pop up everywhere in the back of
people's minds.."[/glow]Serenity laughed before continuing.
[glow=red,2,300]"I'm Serenity Nagase. And you are? And, I don't
exactly know what you mean by 'Hail to' Unless you mean, 'from'.
I'm from Edenia.."[/glow]

Amaya almost flinched when she said 'he' in response to
her conclusive thoughts. Though what really got to her was where
she was from. Then it all started to play back in her mind, the
destruction of her dear friend, the absolute horrific obscenity
that was her entire build up of events up to that time. Could
this girl really be the decent of him? The same luminescent glow
was protruding from flesh, the same scent, the same quick to
leap come back; it was obvious. Tears slightly pooled into
multicolored eyes as she stared at the girl, what could happen
now? "Nagase, Edenia, Light... Sweet Goddess Isis you're related
to him.." She muttered, the sides of her index finger quickly
proving useful to brush away the forming tears. Slowly, her form
began to revert to that same old one she had grown tired of.
Long firey locks, scarred and tattooed flesh, silvery orbs with
slitted pupils, and that familiar black dress. "I'm guessing
you're a grandchild of his.. Probably a niece to Adel.. Man I
really need to just... get my head together, eh?" She said with
a slight laugh, running slender phalanges through her hair.
"This is really... Well.. I don't even know.. So many things
from past stories and wonderful things at that.. But there were
also bad... Shit.." She looked to the side momentarily and
rubbed at her eyes once more.
Amaya paused and sniffled lightly before she looked at the woman
with a light hearted smile. "I'm Amaya..." She said quietly,
attempting to keep her composure as well as she positively
could.

'Oh God, not this again. . ." Serenity thought to
herself as she saw the brooding tears forming within the glowing
globes of the woman before her. This was really starting to get
annoying, but also quite flattering once she thought about it
really. She was, from what it seemed to her, part of a popular
and loved lineage. Though, something told her that her luck with
that might run out soon. As it almost did with Mary, but that
woman decided to take something from Serenity more precious than
anything she owned; her innocence. [glow=red,2,300]"I'm related
to a lot of 'hims'. Could you be a little more specific?"[/glow]
Serenity's snippy attitude reared it's head as a grin crossed
her lips. She crossed her arms and tapped her foot against the
crystallized ground, the echo reverberating through the bluish
and vacant land. As she listened to what Amaya had to say, or
rather, listened to her rambling. Serenity gave off a smirk;
that famous smirk that her father Joutenchi was known for. It
was strange that she automatically assumed that she was Omega's
granddaughter. And, Adel's niece. She didn't bother to think
that she was his daughter. Or maybe the daughter or Rose,
perhaps? Also, she mentioned Adel over anyone. How did HE become
so popular? He was quit most of the time; when he's not
rampaging like a mindless idiot. Shrugging, Serenity
nodded.
[glow=red,2,300] "You're absolutely right, Amaya. I am
the granddaughter of Omega. Adel is, indeed, my uncle. You seem
to forget my father, Joutenchi. I figured he was more. . Known
around the block. At least from what I've been told anyway. A
glorified manwhore. But, I still love him. Anyway, you know
about me. What about you? What do you know? And, what stories do
you have to tell; those tears you try to hide mean
something..."[/glow] She said, offering her hand to the woman in
greeting. Taking note of her new form; more grotesque than the
last, but still radiant and somewhat beautiful. One could tell
that Amaya had been through a lot just by her visage. And,
because of that, knowledge seemed deep.

Amaya slowly took a seat upon the air, her knees crossed
as she rested her hands on one. Smiling ever so slightly as she
attempted to keep her composure while screams and memories ran
through her mind. "Well, I'm aware of your father, but I did not
know him well.. I actually only spoke to him once, so I wasn't
well acquainted with him at all. Your uncle Adel and your
grandfather Omega.. Well, they were very close to me, still are.
Omega was one of my closest friends.. He's the one who instilled
my job upon me, which is Mother Goddess. He was a great man,
m'dear.. Beyond great. Adel, well, he and I were lovers at one
point. Then I just... Failed to see everything clearly I
suppose.. Things slipped and I slipped into insanity. Your
grandfather helped me many a times as I did him. We all helped
each other as best we could, but there was nothing I could do to
save him from his death. Adel on the other hand, from the last I
saw of him.. Well, I had slipped into insanity again, Adel being
the one to usually be able to bring me back from it.. He had
slipped as well.. Chaos running supreme in his mind. That's
actually where I got a few of the scars on my face from." She
laughed a little and smiled a bit more. "Adel and I were nose to
nose against the wall and he was very rageful.. I snapped myself
from my insanity because I realized that he needed me more than
I needed to escape from the horrifying mind I hold. In the end,
Adel was fine to an extent and well.. He and my daughter are
together." She have a chuckle and rubbed the back of her neck.
"Odd way for things to go I suppose."
Sighing gently, Amaya looked around for a moment. "I returned
home... This is my personal kingdom I suppose you can say.. I
haven't seen Adel for the longest nor have I seen any of my
children. Though they're probably around in other realms some
where. Either that or at their home. Omega..." She trailed off
for a moment and looked at Serenity with a quaint and sad smile.
"He and I as well as a large sum of our friends fought against
the four horsemen for a while.. That was a wonderful battle. We
had some wonderful times together, constantly happy in the
past.. Then things seemed to grow very dreary. I wish I could've
stopped things and saved everyone I loved dearly.. Screams and
horrific deaths still play through my mind.. Even your
grandfather's still plays through my mind.." She ran her finger
across her eyes to remove the tears as she kept that smile upon
her lips despite it all. "There aren't that many people that I
was introduced to in the beginning left. I guess you could say
I'm one old bat." She laughed a bit. "How about you, my dear
Serenity.. How has your life been? I wish I could've been around
to meet you in the beginning, I very well might have but don't
remember it due to my psychosis breaking.."

Amaya surely was a strange creature; but mythical as
well. As she rose to take a seat upon an powerful updraft that
she had created, Serenity's mind began to work. The wheels of
her brain churned as she thought of her own seat to create. She
never did this before, but she had gotten the idea from Amaya. A
pillar of light began to rise out of the ground forcefully,
pushing Serenity up as if it was a pedestal. The light was
bright; pure. Yet didn't shine on anything around them as it's
photon focus was used to make the light solid enough for
Serenity to sit on. Her legs hanging off of the edge, crossed
while Serenity listened to Amaya speak. This was really an
interesting story indeed. So, it seemed that Adel could, in
fact, land him a woman. Not only a woman, but the woman's
daughter too. Serenity couldn't help but chuckle at that
thought. She seemed relatively happy about the fact that her
once lover was now with her daughter; guess happiness knows no
bounds. Serenity shifted, so that she was closer to Amaya as she
spoke about her past with her family. As Amaya asked about her
own past, Serenity puckered her lips in thought. There was so
much, in so little time, for Serenity was still a young woman,
fresh out of her teens.
[glow=red,2,300]"Hmm. . .Where do I
begin?"[/glow]Serenity asked herself as she continued to
contemplate what she was going to tell this woman. She decided
to go for the gusto and speak with what came to her mind.
[glow=red,2,300]"Welll. . Joutenchi and Rain are my parents.
Though, I haven't seen them in a while. A few years, actually. I
was left to raise my little brother, Yashiro, on my own. I guess
that made me stronger, even though I wasn't ready for it. Like
my mother wasn't ready for me, that's why she abandoned me..
Thus began my issues with abandonment; people seemed to always
leave me after a short stint in my life. My first love, a
phoenix. He was an asshole, to say the least. My friend,
Trinity, she left me after meeting some elf guy. Then, she found
herself another man, a man that I actually like. Though, I
haven't seen her in ages either. Now, this is where it gets
strange. My aunt, Chizuru, came to me with some upsetting news;
my grandfather has been taken over by his evil brother and
finally sealed into some mirrors. The mirrors were guarded by
the woman, but she came to me and. ."[/glow]Serenity paused,
realizing she was rambling. [glow=red,2,300]"Sorry. . I just got
deep into telling the story that I forgot to keep to the point.
Anyway, After all of that, I am the new Goddess of Light. I even
hold possession of the mirror and my grandfather's essence. I
made a New Edenia and. . Now I'm here, spilling my life story to
someone I don't know. Loneliness. . ."[/glow]She sighed, though
giggled at the thought. [glow=red,2,300]"My father might still
be catering to that Rahl bitch. While my mother chases after
him like a lost puppy, wishing to get it's master
back.."[/glow]Serenity rolled her eyes and took a deep breath.
[glow=red,2,300]"Whelp. That's it! Long story made. . Not so
long."[/glow]

It was wonderful to know that she could inspire ideas,
seeing Serenity create a seat of her own. Amaya listened
intently to the words she spoke. Her mind replaying them,
recording them, and filing them appropriately. There was nothing
more she longed for than to see old friends. Though she couldn't
very well die yet, she didn't even have a successor, her
children could never have withstood the strain that comes along
with being the Mother Goddess. She didn't know how it would go
over to have a 'Father God' either. Considering Christianity
still rode among some humans. Though she'd find a successor,
maybe it would be someone new. Or it could be her son,
Raphiel's, daughter one day. Who knew at this point. When
Serenity spoke of a phoenix who was an asshole, she couldn't
help but chuckle a little. Though she remained very keenly
observant upon the words she spoke. As if they were taking
physical form and she was reading them. When Serenity finished,
she just smiled a bit. "Well, sweetie, it sounds like you've had
minimal problems that you've greatly overcome. I'm proud of you.
Being able to achieve your own personal well being by stepping
upon the issues caused. You're a very strong woman indeed, I'm
only sorry I didn't get to watch you grow up personally." She
said sweetly.
Amaya shifted her position a bit and looked at Serenity with a
light smile. "You know.. My lover is a phoenix.. And among the
many things I am, a dragon is one of them. Yet, it works well.
Considering we're both very intent on being ruthless towards
anyone who steps in our way or threatens each other or our
children. Despite the fact that my two first borns are by
angelic standards and my third born is of Dragon and Phoenix
decent, he sees them as his children as well. Our son is
actually running around here some where. He's often enjoyed
playing upon the crystalian trees and rocks. There's quite a few
animals here as well, not often seen in this part of home
because they're in the distant part of the.. Can't say woodland
because it's not made of wood." She paused, laughing softly as
she shook her head. "Phoenixes can often be quite unbearable and
assholes. They're straight up a mess. Though what man or woman
can't be a mess?" She said with a small smirk. "Dearest
Serenity.. You've done quite a lot. Have you even taken a break
to see what greatness you've succeeded in creating? Loneliness
will soon shadow nothing in your life, do not doubt that you
will be quite happy in the near future." Those words ran upon
the air like a falling feather, that smile never fading.
