Amnesiac Love

It's been ten years since the accident that had taken Jason'
memory of everybody and everything. the only thing that he held
in his possession was a picture of him, and the girl he loved.
Jason spent his nights by himself, and a girl that looked like
the one in the 8X10 glossy paper.

As the moons light shined through Jason apartment. Jason woke up
from his small nap, he sat up and walked to his desk. A sigh
escaped his lips as he grabbed his keys, and started to head out
of the apartment. A single gold watch sat upon his left wrist.
aving read to my love. Jason looked to the door and waited for
one person to enter into his apartment.

Jayla pulled her hood up and opened her umbrella as she stepped
out of her apartment's from doors. She headed down the street as
she held onto a locket with a key that hung from her neck. She
gripped it tight thinking of the one who gave it to her. All the
happy, loving memories that only she could remember now. She
looked up to make sure she was going into the write doors and
stepped inside an apartment complex shaking off the rain.
Putting her umbrella on the floor, leaving it there to dry she
quickly went up to Jasons door and opened it as she knocked.
"Jason? Oh hey were you about to go some where?" She asked her
voice shook softly from the chill she got, her wet hair ran
drops of water down her spine making her colder.

"I was about go see you." He spoke up with a smile as he walked
to her. We he got close enough he wrapped his arms around her.
"I'm sorry I can't remember anything about us, our our past."He
spoke up as he let go and stepped back. "Where would you like to
go tonight Jayla?" he asked with a smile as he grabbed his
wallet. His hand grabbed hers as he waited for her to answer. He
hated that he couldnt remember anything after his accident.

She smiled as he wrapped his arms around her so she rested her
hands on his arms."It's alright, I know it can't be easy on
you." when he slipped away from her she watched him and wondered
if he remembered anything at all. It was hard to believe that
someone could forget. She thought for a little bit then smiled
big when she had an idea and laced her fingers between his." I
wanna take you some where as a surprise. Maybe it will bring
back some memories." she let his hand go and began to head
downstairs hoping he would follow her.

Jasons miled and Followed her as he said "I remember that you're
name is Jayla, and that we are dating that's about it." he spoke
up as he followed her down the stairs. "where are we going?" He
asked as he stopped by the front door of the Complex. He was
confused, and tried to remember everything about his past. Jason
was happy that he had Jayla there to help him. "Jayla I'm happy
that I have you here to at least help me try to remember." he
spoke up running his hand along the scar above his right eye.

She grabbed her umbrella and stepped outside opening it again
and waited for him to catch up. "I wanna take you to our first
date." She smiled big and took his hand starting to walk down
the sidewalk. She remembered how nervous he was on the date, how
he spilt his drink on her and that she never let him forget
about that date fill now. She squeezed his hand softly as the
last of her thoughts were sadder than she thought. Once they got
to a window of a breakfast diner she stopped and looked inside
the empty diner. "were here. Does it look familiar?

Jason looked into the diner, and placed his hand on the window
as their first date played as if it was just the same day. "I
remember you wore a red dress, and I wore a white Polo shirt. I
ordered a Hamburger, with a coke." He spoke up as he continued
standing there. "I remember that I was so nervous I accidently
knocked the drink on your lip." Was all he said as he looked
down at his hand that was still holding hers. His eyes then
travel to hers. "Jayla I love you." he spoke up with a smile

Jayla smiled and help his hand tight as he said everything
right. Her eyes watered suprised that he remembered. It wasn't
much of a date but for him to remember made happy when he looked
to her and told her he loved her. She reached up with her hand
to put on the side of his face as she said," I love you too
Jason" she stood on her tip toes to lean up and leave a kiss on
his lap before she slipped her hand out of his to wrap her as
around his neck gently

Jason smiled against her lips as he wrapped his arms around her
waist. As he pulled back he looked into her eyes, "What else do
you have planned for us tonight?" he asked as he stood there
with her in his arms. Jason was truthfully happy with her beside
him. As Jason waited to see what else she had planned he looked
down at the necklace she wore. "I remember when i bought that
for you." He said with a smile.
