Roleplays with the Lady Tala
By: BlackBirdLovable Date: November 10, 2011, 8:38 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Fingertips traipsed down the cherry-wood railing of the
porch on Tala's cottage. It was quiet, secluded, and surrounded
by a wooded lot. The soft chortle of a Mourning Dove and the
rustle of the sweet breeze through the leaves were the only
sounds that reached her ears as that same gust of air lifted her
soft locks of auburn hair from her shoulders to whip around her
face in a sort of whirl wind. She resisted the urge to curl
those wild locks behind her ears. Restricting them never did any
good; her hair seemed to have a mind of its own, emotions of its
own, but somehow still a reflection of the woman whose face it
framed. A thin, cream-colored dress clung to the curves of
Tala's body as though it were tailor made to her form.
Tribal-esque tattoos spiraled around her upper left thigh, her
torso, and ended in a sleeve around her right arm. Her
ceremonial, rune marked dagger was lashed in its proper place at
her upper right thigh with a single leather strap.
A slight gasp escaped Tala's plump, pinked lips at the sound of
a rustle from off in the distance. Allowing her eyes to shut and
herself to simply feel, Tala concentrated.... concentrated.
Nothing. She felt absolutely nothing. An expression of utter
frustration consumed her face. This was so unlike her. How is it
possible that she felt nothing when there was clearly something
there? The frustration on Tala's face turned slowly into agony
as her hand reached to the base of her neck. Dried blood,
throbbing, searing pain. "That's right..." Tala said in
recognition. "Dammed Dvergar. Such ornery creatures. I'll have
to be sure to protect my body better next time I offer those," a
shiver crossed her spine, "horrid creatures something to
trade."

~Branches snapping, howls of the lycantrhopes trialing behind
him, Marrok lunged from tree to tree. His power had not
returned to his new body yet. He had been ambushed by a pack of
ravenous werewolves. 'Tsk... You think they would know, that I
am the alpha of the dominant Black Talon's. " He sneered as he
slammed into a tree, his body bending and twisting as he
collided with branches, a thunderous thud echoed as his body
slammed against the ground. "Fuck" Was all he managed to speak
as his pursuers now surrounded his body. He came to a knee as
they begin to lunge towards him. His right arm was broken,
while his rib cage was beaten and battered. One swipe he let
out a cry in pain, as three more struck his body. He fell to
his hands and knees as his crimson hues coated a burning inferno
of gold. A monstrous howl erupted from the man's diaphram as he
took his lycan form. Growing from his six foot six stature to a
seven foot two. HIs clothes being torn to shreds as he lunged
forward, killing one, then two, then three. The still managed
to over whelm his body due to the lack of power. He broke free
lunging into the trees once more. He took off at greater speeds
as his body ached with pain. He managed to halt the blood flow,
but his body was beginning to fail. With one final lunge he
erupted from the woods to come crashing down in an opening. His
body slid across the ground several feet as he took human form
once more. Silver locks failing over his facade as his body
began to bleed again. "Is this the end?" Was all that seeped
from closed lips.~

Bare feet padded across the porch, through the door, and into
the small kitchen of the cabin. Lifting a towel off of its place
on a rung and wetting it slightly, Tala lifted it to her neck
and attempted to clean herself up. It was then that a feeling of
fear and hopelessness overwhelmed her, but it wasn't her own.
Grasping at the counter top to steady herself, the emotions shed
from her body with the exhale of a deep breath. "Dammit," Tala
cursed under her breath. Such foul language would hardly have
ever been expected from such a pretty mouth as her's. It was
unlike Tala to allow her empathy to consume her without her
permission. Only something close by and near death could have
affected her to this degree. Tossing the towel across the
counter, releasing her dagger from its place on her thigh, and
sprinting out the door, Tala's hair flew wildly behind her as
she prepared herself for whatever she might stumble upon.
Crumpled not but thirty feet from the cabin was the bloodied
form of a man. The visage was hidden below silver locks, but
something about him seemed familiar. Setting down her dagger and
kneeling beside him, Tala attempted to quell the bleeding by
placing her palms over the most severe of the wounds, allowing
healing energy from within her body to pass through her hands,
and into the body of the man. "Do NOT die on me," she grumbled
angrily. It would be just her luck to have an unnamed body on
her hands. Closing her eyes, Tala knelt there and focused. She
knew that if consciousness was not regained soon his soul would
surely part from its vessel.

~Crimson liquid seeped from the wounds, but slowly came to a
halt as his body was being healed. But how? Who was doing this?
He cringed in pain as he regained consciousness. Blurred
vision from gray irises, as they fell upon the woman healing
him. "T....T...Tala?" Was all he managed to mutter before he
passed out once more. His body ached with pain, the darkness
with in his mind flashed gently with memories. But nothing came
up, his mind was completely blank. ALl he could remember was
waking up in a younger body and feeling weak.~

That voice. She knew it. She recognized it, and it
chilled her to the bone. Pulling her blood covered hands away,
grabbing her dagger, and scattering backwards all at once like a
frightened animal, Tala's green eyes glared intently at the
wounded man. An undying hatred coursed through her veins. She
very well could have killed him right then and there, but
something in her told her not to. Something told her to return
to his side and check over the remaining damage to his body.
"Mar-rok....." Her voice sounded frail as it cracked in the
middle of the name. Caught somewhere between the instinct to
hate and the instinct to help, she sat there, poised, and
staring at him.

~With the next passing moment, his oculars shot open, He moved
as fast as he could as he unsheathed his blade. A ravenous
snarl erupted from his chest as his silver locks fell over his
facade. His lower body became covered with the bottom portion
of a kimono as general type boots laced them selves around his
feet and ankles. Forearm armor wrapped around both arms as his
wounds began to heal on their own slowly. His power was finally
returning and this woman before him was Lady Tala. He held a
strong hatred for this woman. "What luck I would run into you
after all this time. Judging by your reaction to my voice, you
still hold the same hatred for me." He erupted in laughter as
he lunged forward. Just as he went to strike her his rib cage
emitted a large pain as he fell to the ground only inches from
her body. He looked up a sneer of sheer hatred. "Go on Tala, you
have your chance Kill me."~

Ready to defend herself from his blade, Tala
had to force herself not to rush to Marrok's side when he fell
back to the ground. She lifted the blade of her dagger in a
motion that might have been perceived as an attack, but when,
out of the corner of her eye, she spied a dark, short figure
scurrying amongst the brush, Tala replaced her dagger in its
leather strap. "I have more pressing matters to attend to than
killing the likes of you. And despite my better judgement, I
cannot leave you here to die by natural..." Her eyes darted
around them searching for the whereabouts of the figure. "...or
other causes." Roughly grabbing Marrok by the wrist and wrapping
his arm around her shoulders, Tala attempted to help him stand
on his own. "Don't try anything stupid. Think you can
walk?"

~A cough exerted from his esophagus as blood spewed. He saw her
look to the corner, he sensed the same thing as she. He chuckled
slightly at her words and came to his knees. "You may regret not
killing me while you have the chance. Once i regain my full
power you stand no chance." Was all he said as she lifted his
body gently wrapping his arm around her shoulder. He blushed
slightly at her figure as he tried to hide it. "Yes I can walk."
He used his free hand to wipe the blood from his mouth as he
took a step forward. "GET DOWN" He yelled as he pushed Tala out
of the way, his body being tackled by the figure they had sensed
only moments ago. A ravenous snarl erupted from the mans mouth
as he elbowed the beast in the side of it's head. Launching it
several feet to the left. He came to his feet, his strength was
slowly returning, as he took ahold of his blade raising it above
his head. "Now devour all who stand in our path." Was all he
muttered as he slammed the unique blade towards the ground, a
massive wave of energy emitting from the weaponry as he fell to
a knee. Breathing heavily. Upon contact with the creature it
released a screaming cry as the energy obliterated the creature.
Looking to Tala, with one eye closed and the other barely
opened, he laughed. "We are even." He smiled as he passed out
once more.~

Darting to the ground at Marrok's warning,
Tala grabbed her dagger which lite aflame with a blue glow. It
was quite obvious that the small, yet vicious, Dvergar stood no
chance. Tala hadn't fully expected the nasty creatures to follow
her back to this realm, but she now knew the lengths they would
go to get what they wanted. "God damned, nasty, vile, impudent
little whelps!" Her curses fell on deaf ears for all of those
they were intended for were now deceased. She turned to Marrok
as he spoke, only to see him fall to the ground, unconscious
once more. Swooping to his side, she pulled a small pouch from
beneath the leather strap which kept her dagger. Pulling what
seemed to be an herb from the pouch, Tala crumbled it in her
hands and held it to her companion's nose. If nothing else could
wake him up, this scent of this would. In spite of all of her
instincts screaming at her to leave him there and start placing
protections around herself from those of the darker realms, Tala
had decided that it couldn't really hurt all that much to make
sure Marrok didn't die.

~Within the blankness of his mind, he heard the faint voice of
the inner beast of his weapon. Lucia was her name, a beautiful
majestic silver haired wolf she called out to him.
"Marrok."....."Marrok, wake up, it is not your time yet master."
With the end of the sentence coming, a foul stench swarmed his
sense of smell, as he came back to life. Bolting forward holding
his nose and coughing. He turned to Tala as he glared. "What
the fuck is that rancid smell." He had always been quite the
vulgar creature with his tone and choice of words. He brought
one leg up as he rested his left arm upon it. His body twitched
with short burst of pain. Nothing critical, just th ehealing
process taking place.~
