Kitsune Fields
By: Kit Date: November 10, 2011, 1:25 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Deep within the forest of myth lays a field that is far from the
view of humans and like-minded races. Throughout the ages many
Kitsune grew up here playing with one another. Once in awhile
one of them would wander off to find a new mate, bringing them
here to live out the rest of their life here. The fields were
protected by a magic more ancient and powerful than any known.
Every day would last 12 hours coated in a constant sunset while
the nights were cloudless coated with stars and a bright
luminescent moon. In the middle was a crystalline lake in which
you could see the bottom despite how deep it was.

looking up at the clear night sky Agemanon wonders how far he
had gotten, this forest was apparently much larger then he had
thought. Branches snap under his feet while the sounds of other
night creatures surround him in this forest that was unknown to
him, normally one with good sense of direction Agemanon some how
was feeling disorientated. Not liking the feeling he stops and
sit on a tree that had long fallen over from its old age, this
forest seemed old, very old. Once again looking up into the
night sky Agemanon lets out a sigh not knowing what to do.

As guardian of Kitsune fields Kit wanders along the edge of the
fields keeping her nose smelling the air currents to make sure
that none had entered who weren't permitted as per her
instructions for the day. Occasionally she'd come across a
foreign scent go along to investigate it only to find out it was
nothing more than a dead animal. "There are other better suited
guards than myself' her voice sounded as though she was whining
which she was. Border was the most boring job a young fox like
herself could be given. Always the alpha telling her to protect
the group, make sure the borders stayed intact, make sure no
humans dared to enter their lands. As always she'd argue against
this saying that not all humans were bad. At least that's what
her parents would tell her everyday. That the alpha was nothing
more than a paranoid old man. "I wish I could find someway to
open his mind and show him that there were still some good
humans out there"

Annika sighed as she let her leg swing from the branch, leaning
back against the trunk of the tree that she had chosen to roost
in. Not long now until the sun would set and she would be able
to roam more freely. She always preferred the dark, it was more
comforting for her. She felt more... at home, though she knew
this was only because she could see the moon. Her gaze slowly
lifted towards the sky, a slender hand lifting to brush a strand
of dark hair out of her face as she waited. Not long now. Her
amber eyes lowered to the ground, catching a young buck within
their sight. Should she dive now and eat before her nightly
routine? Or should she wait until it grew darker? A low rumble
from her stomach answered her question before she could even
consider either thought, causing her to chuckle softly to
herself. Her lips parted in a cruel smile as she watched the
creature grazing, at least giving it some time for a last meal.
After a few minutes, she slowly slipped down out of the tree,
her body snaking gracefully and her tattoo's rippling with her
smooth skin as she made her way to the ground. A pink tongue ran
along the inside of her cheek, brushing against the cold metal
of her piercing before poking out of her mouth, running along
her lower lip as she sank to the ground. Each movement was
elegant, as if she were performing a silent ballet, not even her
bare feet making a sound on the floor as she stepped over twigs
that had fallen from the tree. Slowly, she crept forwards, her
body low to the ground as her wide eyes watched the buck.
However, this graceful prowling was all put to waste, as a
sudden outburst from her stomach rummbled and caused the buck to
lift its head. As soon as its brown eyes met her amber eyes, the
buck, startled, darted away and ran for its life. Snarling to
herself, Annika stood up, watching as the creature bounded away
into the distance. Damn stomach... She couldn't help but run her
fingers over her smooth belly, before slipping her hands into
the pockets of her baggy black shorts. Turning away, she glanced
around, wondering if there would be anything else to eat before
dark or if she would simply have to wait for the nocturnal
creatures to venture out.

Hearing a sound of a voice Agemanon stands up cautiously and
asks 'hello? anyone there?' As he says this he peers around
noticing that everything had gone quite at the sound of his
voice, feeling disappointed that the beautiful sounds around him
died he sits back down. Hoping that he hadn't just heard the
voice he perks hie ears hoping to hear it again. Looking around
cautiously he puts a hand on the hilt of his sword, and hopes
that the voice was friendly he had grown wary of fighting.

Her ears perk up as she hears muscles tightening she looks
around making sure that no one was around her. Of course there
wouldn't be, her nakama would be asleep by now. She takes on the
guise of a fox pup and walks into the forest where she picks up
the scent of a nearby being quickly she howls as loudly as her
lungs would allow her to. Her ears lay flat against her head
gently as she races back toward her home to awaken nakama

Still looking around he sees a small fox pup Agemanon loosens
his grip on his sword, getting down from where he had been
sitting he crouches and holds out a hand cautiously. Around the
same time this happened he heard in odd sound, still holding a
hand out he looks towards where the sound had come from.

~The sounds of twigs crackling beneath pressure, the scuffing of
shinobi foot wear against the cobble stone walk ways. Recent
memories of events that have occurred raced through his mind as
he wandered. His six foot stature was rather tall compared to
most he had encountered, Blackened locks with a tint of blue
wore short in ht e back but long bangs within the front of his
facade. Ominous hues focused upon the path he was walking as he
wore a uniquely designed outfit created by his former Sensei.
With the man dead and under the rule of another of his clan who
was thought to be dead, he carried out missions for the man.
Atop his out fit was a blue tinted over coat, with a shoulder
pad on each shoulder bearing his clan's crest. A forged katana
rested atop the left side of his waist as he took each step.~
~The sky above became clouded as streak upon streak of lightning
coursed through the blackened clouds. This phenomenon happened
every time he thought of his past. Becoming the True Avenger of
his fallen clan was what he was destined for. Coming to a halt,
something caught his attention, as his ominous irises now
illuminated a vibrant crimson, as unique designs took shape with
in his pupil. He soon vanished as he reappeared in front of a
massive buck. The deer coming to a halt in shock, he drew his
blade with one swift swing of his blade, it was sheathed once
more. With the next passing moment the head of the buck slid
clean off. A slight grin plastered across his facade as he
picked the now dead animal up once more and vanished. Again
reappearing in another opening, this time differently though he
was not alone. There was a female being looking his dead in the
face. With a slight scoff he dropped the carcas of the deer in
front of her. "Eat up." Emotionless crimson irises shimmered
as he spoke.~

Before finishing the trek back to her home and nakama she turns
back seeing some fear on the persons face. Her tail swishes
before she runs back to the man "Do not fear I have no interest
in hurting you, although I must protect my nakama from you"after
speaking Kit races back home wondering if showing that she was
able to speak was the best idea.*Oh well I'll deal with the
consequences later* with that she races back home howling
continuously to make sure that those who were sleeping were
awake

Annika huffed as her stomach rumbled again, frowning to herself
as she looked around and then up at the sky as a flash of
lightening streaked across the clouds. Where has that storm come
from...? Shaking her head, she looked back down in front of her,
confused though not bothered by this strange phenomenon. Perhaps
these lands were just prone to sudden weather changes. Suddenly,
she heard a sound, her head quickly turning to find where the
source of it was. Nothing... Perhaps it was just her
imagination? Or a stray badger making its way out early despite
the storm? Turning back around again, she was startled to find
herself staring into the face of a man. Darting backwards, her
eyes widened, her hand instinctively reaching for the dagger
that was tucked away in her shorts as she raised her lip and let
out a warning growl. Some often mistook her for a feral girl,
merely wild after being raised in the woods, but this was
neither the truth, nor close to the truth. If anything, Annika
was one of the more sophisticated of her kind.
Cautiously, she stared at the stranger, not wanting to trust him
though knowing that if she didn't accept his offer, it could be
a while before she ate. Slowly, she slid her dagger back into
place, taking a step forwards though keeping her eyes on the
man. Breathing in through her nose, she took in the scent of the
dead creature that lay between them, making sure that there were
no poisons in it. Then again, she still couldn't be sure. "Who
are you?" Her voice was light yet strong, a London accent
curving each word as she spoke. Her eyes never left the man as
she sat down in front of the carcass, pulling out her dagger
again and hacking a chunk of meat from the beast. Something that
many of her peers sneered at her for. They hated how she used it
as a knife, how she didn't get her face dirty when eating, how
she didn't attack her food as if it were still alive. And yet,
still she remained civilised, refusing to resort to her
animalistic nature while she were in her human state. Watching
the stranger carefully, she began to wonder if there was
something he wanted from her, if he was a hunter or if this were
some kind of trap. After all, what kind of stranger would give
away a free meal like this?
