       Vega Prime
By: Kai Date: November 8, 2011, 11:22 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Vega Prime, a world not unlike Earth, Habitable by Liliko and
Veigs alike. Some might call it a paradise, but they probably
haven't seen the cities. It was once a beautiful world, elegant
with cities harmoniously set upon the planet’s crystalline
emerald seas, villages intertwined in the tops of it's beautiful
red and blue leafed forests. The more inhabited areas of the
       world were
built much like the modern cities of Earth, and from afar one
might say that Vega Prime Might even be an ancient or fantasy
world Earth but while what Humans or Liliko would call magic was
only legend to them, the Veigs were proficient in the use of
extradimensional power. Technology rose on Vega Prime, but it
intertwined with their magic usage, and for them, it forever
       fused Mysticism and Science.
For a human, meeting a Veig would be as meeting another human
unless they were to notice the Veigs inherent birthmark which
enabled them to formulate a singular bodily power while their
tools drew from their bodily energies, Malekana, or Mannever, in
Human tongue, the spiritual reserve of their power. Over the
centuries Vega prime had lived peacefully in obscurity but upon
nearing their year of 4356 AR, or Earth's year of 2407 CE, Earth
had begun a manned mission to find habitable worlds to colonize
       and had found Vega Prime.
Initially thinking it was uninhabited, the Humans landed, and as
they explored they found that the world already supported
intelligent life, however the Earthlings were too hungry for new
home worlds to care and in being so they instigated a 52 year
war against the Veigs. Brutality, bloodshed, destruction all
three ran rampant in the years that followed, a once beautiful
planet sullied by Human greed and Veig persistence, The Veig had
invited a peaceful union, to coexist on Vega Prime and most
Humans had agreed, but there were still those Human who craved
the planet all for themselves, and so now, the war continues,
       seemingly never ending even as
Vega Prime was mostly restored to its former glory.
30 Years after the war in the Veig year of 4442 AR or 2489 Earth
Calendar, ruins remain, but where Civilization reigns, it is a
mostly peaceful society, a council acting as the government,
each member representing a sector of votes. Humans run free as
the Veig people do now, but seem feel it's only a matter of time
before the humans start to get too greedy again.
       NOTES:
This is the world for which I will my character Vega, a young
       Veig girl
This world has it’s own native language which is mostly a random
assortment of Japanese and Hawaiian pronunciations put together
The Veig, The native intelligent race on Vega Prime, carry with
them, a coin bank, for Sapphii, their money, blue metal coins
with boht Earth and Veig numerics printed on them (Now since the
humans and Veigs have gained a shaky truse)
The Veig speak in a Veiglish dialect meaning some words will
still be spoken in their native tongue, such as when a Veig
speaks of a human whose name they aren’t aware of, they say
       their word for Human, Liliko.
Humans and The Veig have had hybrid children in the years
following the war, they are the only Native people to sport a
family name, Full blooded Veig do not have family names and only
the seats of power have titles.
LOCATIONS: (This list is subject to be added to as things move
       on)
The Rubble Walk, the ruins of a great city, now an open air
Bazaar and Job Board, with a few General Public housings the
people here are more or less Desperates who wish to earn enough
Sapphii either to survive or to move to another city mostly by
doing jobs on the job board.
Brillyana (Veig Name: Bushokila) The Capital of Council, City of
Lights, the way it looks is more akin to the Grid from Tron
legacy if it were built in a less Blocky version version of
Minecraft, Most Veig and Liliko, mostly built of Obsidian and
Blue Diamond, both being of very little worth to the Veig being
that both minerals are quite prevalent on Vega Prime if you dig
       a little bit.
Udokala (Treetop Town) A city placed deep within the blue forest
built into the very trees, connected by rope bridges and Branch
swings, and also home to a renowned Martial Arts School that
taught Kurilikana’akoshu, a style that appears to incorporate
Parkour, Shaolin Kung Fu and Jeet Kun Do all into one Style.
The Glowing Forest, a massive rainforest that covers most of the
North Western Continent that as its name suggests Glows a bright
blue from the leaves at night.
There is no true Daylight on Vega Prime, the planet circles a
star but due to spacial anomalies the only true spacial Light
the world recieves are from 3 large moons that orbit at all
times of the Veig Day which is about 36 Earth hours.

       ---------------------------------------------------------
Dark-night was drawing near, she saw, as the large moon Leikashi
rose from behind the emerald sea. She hopped down from her
little hiding spot amidst a large amount of rubble, a veig-made
cave inside the man made destruction. Ruins were all she knew of
cities besides the treetop villages she'd seen while she was
making Sapphii so she could leave the rubble and move to
Bushokila with her sister, only, she had been separated from her
       sister for a while now.
She moved with a natural silence, and the people who saw her as
she walked stared, thinking a mixture of, "Wow she's so pretty"
to "There's that weird quiet girl again." She had no interest in
any of these people, and though she was pretty her facial
expression never changed from being withdrawn or some might call
it emotionless. The Veig had been known for their stoic nature,
always keeping their calm and never really showing their
feelings or even conveying them verbally but Vega was different,
it wasn't just her nature, she was rather anti-social, the only
person she ever was really close to after her parents died was
       her older sister.
Her appearance was rather normal for a Veig, small physique but
with incredible physical strength, the inherent red irises the
collective her people shared, her distinctive qualities were
hair natural blue hair which fell to shoulders and of course the
marks of the talon that adorned her forearms, forearms that she
kept covered by what seemed to be bandage wrappings. The rest
seemed more or less human in her attire, black tank top, loose
fitting black pants with a lot of pockets like a lot of
Veig-kind, she bore no footwear as most saw no need for them.
Coming up upon the job board she sighed, seeing nothing new
posted, disheartened that she'd have to wait yet another day to
add to her secret hideaway of money. Not having anything else to
truly keep her occupied she walked further down the bazaar,
walking into a small ruined but still standing building, a
bar/noodlehouse she ate at a lot, and took a seat. The man
behind the bar noticed it was her who had taken a seat and
immediately began preparing her usual meal, 3 bowls of roasted
chicken noodles and a particular blueish-green drink she liked
to have a few glasses of before disappearing to her hideaway.
Setting the meal down in front of her, he nodded silently,
putting the viewer on in front of her so she could watch old
movies and tv shows as she ate, with Vega responding only by
sliding a handful of Sapphii over to him as she began to slowly
move noodles from the bowl down her throat.
