       Fairy Wings

       Stretching, yawning, and finally smacking her lips together in
       contentment, Serafin woke from her sweet slumber. Tapping the
       tulip petal next to her, she called out, "Open up, Flower, dear.
       Its time to greet the morning!" Her voice was cheery and filled
       with honey. Morning, noon, or night, Serafin was always in a
       splendid mood. A giggle of pure joyfulness passed her lips as
       the tulip spread its petals enough for her to flutter out.
       Hovering for a moment down next to her flower, Serafin sung,
       "Thank you, dearest Flower for keeping me safe and warm as I
       dreamed of sparkles and gumdrops and ribbons and so many other
       wonderful things." She gave the flower a loud kiss on one of the
       petals and fluttered off to her favorite stream. It wasn't far
       off; just beyond the treeline. And if she caught it in time, She
       could watch the way it glistened when the water asked the rays
       of light from the rising sun to dance.
