In the standstills of town, Rebecca had always been the
odd one out. Most creatures prided themselves on being hidden to
the humans, her on the other hand, she didn't really give a
fuck. Violet orbs, long reddish brown fox tail, fox ears
sticking up out of her hood. She didn't even care about what
people said or thought. The rampant and rebellious fifteen year
old was far more cunning than people gave her credit for.
Wearing red casual shoes, blackish brown jeans, red camisole,
and a brown jacket. Now Rebecca was fast, coy, and sly. Though
what fox isn't? Don't answer that, she already knew some foxes
weren't the smartest. Though she often tried to give people a
chance at catching her. It was a game, if they caught her, she'd
give them a prize. Usually she played this game with teenagers
and few adults. Every now and then she'd end up playing hide and
seek with a few kids younger than her. The trick she pulled was
to wear a bright orange glow stick on her red belt, causing a
streak of light to give off where she was gunna be going. It was
like a hint. Now Rebecca was the nice one, not many people
disliked her. The ones that did usually got clawed or bit at
some point to show that she wasn't going to take any bullshit
from the likes of anyone.
Usually, she was very sweet though. Played with kids, helped out
everyone, she adored people. She was a very social person.
Brunette hair showered her face as she walked down the main
roads of the town, waving to people and chuckling. Extended
canines drawing attention from animals as they cooed and barked
at her to play with them. Simply because she herself, was an
animal for the most part. Though she had a high intelligence,
even she knew that humans and creatures alike were just beasts.
There was no such thing as humans and animals to her for the
most part. She saw everyone as a beast, that's how she was.

Zeref, the lord of Fear as most know him, steps though the
village's gates alone; he had left Oen behind hidden with in the
forest so no one could find him or harm the boy. Zeref looked
around at the people, a slight smirk on his lips as they moved
out of his way, weather this was because he was a new face, or
they knew he was a demon didn't matter to him. His long brown
hair pulled back into a loose and not very ponytail allowed for
his amber eyes to shine brightly; under each of his eyes were
black marks, lines that look like the ink dripped down his face
slightly, tho it wasn't ink it was more of a birth mark, and a
sign to most he wasn't human. Kid ran around him, parents
wondering why, a few pulling on the sleeves of Zeref usual blue
cloak which was over a black kimono. His zōri upon his feet
hit the ground filled the air as if nothing else was making a
sound. On his side was a short blade hidden under the blue
cloak, slightly visible as he walked. The kids were not his,
they were random kids that thought he looked 'funny' and wanted
to play with him. Zeref had an odd aura about him he was a
demon, but his aura was kind and one of the reasons kids of the
town didn't fear him. Even eyes didn't show any harshness. Zeref
was in this town for one reason and one reason only, to track
clues down about two black smiths that are well known for their
skills in making weapons, he had last heard they were sighted
not far from this town, he was hoping someone would know
something to aid him.

Rebecca had been keenly keeping an eye on the children
to make sure they didn't get into any trouble. When she saw them
bothering a strange looking male, she quirked a brow. Normally,
the kids didn't bother strangers. It was certainly strange
indeed. Ears folded back a bit as her tail bristled, this man
certainly wasn't human. She could smell it on him, but it didn't
bother her any. Quickly, she rushed to the kids and smiled to
the male in an apologetic manner. "Sorry sir, I'll get them."
She paused, looking to the kids with a stern look. "You kids no
better than to mess with visitors. Now go on and play elsewhere.
Teni! Stop pulling on his sleeves!" She said, picking up the
little girl as she sighed a bit, her arms tenderly caring for
the little blond girl. "Hey, don't get upset just because I
scolded you. You know better than to pull on people. It isn't
polite to do so and you're a young lady are you not?" The little
girl sniffled and pouted, nodding. "Okay then, now go play with
the other children." she said as she sat her down and offered a
sweet smile. "Behave." She said as she watched her skitter off.
Looking up towards the male as she straightened up, she smiled.
"Is there anything I can help you find around here?"

Zeref stopped walking at the sound of a girls voice, with that
he turned to look down at her seeing as he was six foot two it
was hard not to look down on most. "Hm?" He didn't say anything
as the girl yelled at the young kids that were running around
him, nor did he say anything when she got them to run off. "You
should not be so quick to raise your voice against something you
do not know about." He was speaking about weather or not the
kids were bothering him. His voice was aloof and charming,
another reason so many liked to follow him, if it was his demon
voice that did it, or just his words not even he was sure. "As
for you helping me, perhaps. I am looking for a man, two
actually. What they look like, I do not know, nor do I have any
real way of helping you narrow them down among a sea of people.
They are not human, and are blacksmiths of weapons that have the
power of entire armies, and for that reason they are very hard
to find, and they never stay in one place." Zeref kept his eyes
on the girl as he spoke. "Have you seen anyone besides myself
pass through here, or come here to stay for a short time?
Besides myself."

Rebecca lightly crossed her arms in the normal manner
she always did, so casually. Her ears twitching lightly as her
tail swayed back and forth. Listening intently to what the male
had to say. "Oh well, it's still impolite and we try to teach
the kids of this town to be respectful of elders and everyone
else for that manner. Even if it wasn't a bother to you, it was
still a rude action to take so lightly. A little scolding never
hurt them and we keep from laying hands on children in this
place, not even switches or belts are used as punishment. It's a
very effective method. They don't fear but they know better."
She paused and thought upon the man's question, scrunching her
nose as violet orbs danced over the area. "Hmm.. Well it's not
really odd for people such as yourself or of any kind of
creature to come through here. This is a town full of what you
would call humans, but to everyone here, we're all beasts and
creatures. Despite the fact that I'm pretty much the only actual
creature that lives amongst the people here. If there's anyone
like that, they'd probably be in the local inn. It provides
tools and everything one needs to do their business and they
have just about anything. So it's a place where most creatures
go to stay." She said casually, turning on her heels and giving
him the motion to follow her. "I'll show you the way, sir.. By
the way, if you need anything, you could ask myself or anyone
here and we'll do our best to meet your needs. We welcome
outsiders with open arms. My name is Rebecca and the town
elder's usually busy handling affairs, so it's most likely that
you'll be seeing me if you need any help. By the way, is it
alright if I ask you just what exactly you are? I don't mean to
be rude, but I'm a curious fox."

Zeref listened to her as she spoke, allowing her words to fill
his ears, but none of it was very helpful. "Everyone is a beast
demon and humans alike, demons just show it more then the
humans, but then again I have seen what humans do to one another
so it is debatable." Zeref followed her as she started to walk
away. "If they were here, they had long but fled and with them
any real trace they are very smart about not leaving anything
behind." As they walked Zeref his eyes moving slightly, though
they wouldn't have left any raw materiel behind, they always
left behind a slight aura, from when they infuse their blades
with power. Zeref's eyes fell on the young girl once again at
the question of what he was. "The simple answer to what I am,
would be a demon." Zeref thought for a moment. "These outsiders
wouldn't have mad themselves known it would be like there
weren't even here, a shadow on a black wall. You would of known
they were there with out truly seeing them."

Rebecca listened to him, turning her head to look up at
him over her shoulders. Violet eyes giving a slight hue change
to a crimson color but for only a second before she smiled. "The
'humans' here aren't like that. A few of them fight each other
for the fact of they're morons, but that's about it. We're all
very peaceful here and try to instill that to the kids so they
grow up in a wonderful environment rather than a harsh and crude
one. As for the men you speak of, they have a scent do they not?
Despite how smart or careful they are, I have a very keen sense
of smell and never forget a smell of the people who live here..
So outsiders are fresher to me than anything. It's a large town,
but it's easy for me to spot anyone that's not from around here.
Take you for example, you don't smell of peaches or apples, so
it's keen that you're not from around here because everyone
carries that specific vague scent on them. So if they were at
the inn, then I should be able to smell it because it would be
on what ever they touched. That odd scent that enthralls my
curiosity to seek out more." She was intelligent for a fifteen
year old. Coming upon a large building, she turned on her heels
and offered a bright smile. "Well, we're here.. I could assist
you if you'd like. Oh, and thank you for answering my previous
question about what you are." She paused and gave a light sniff
to the air. "Another thing.. You smell like someone else has
been around you. If you have someone traveling with you, they're
welcome to stay here as well." She said cheerfully.

"If they are not like that here, then they are lying to their
true nature, all beings have an evil side weather or not they
are true to it is something else." Zeref looked at her as she
spoke of a scent. "Indeed they do, but the scent will be more
faint then anything you experienced before, they are good at
masking their scent; even if you pick it up here it be lost with
in a few miles, If they were here they would of left behind a
slight aura I suppose you could call it that. Your eyes might
not be able to see it but mine on the other hand will be able
to. The aura is from when the infuse their weapons with powers
that I was speaking of early, it's the one thing they have yet
to learn how to hide." Zeref's eyes trailed up from the young
girl to the building behind her his eyes scanning it slightly
for any signs of them outside of it. Hearing her speak of
another scent on him he looked back down at her. "That would be
the boy, and he is with in the forest for now, if you wish you
could go find him, though I can not guarantee he wont attack
out." He smirked a bit before walking passed her and into the
Inn's main door.

"The boy....?" Rebecca muttered, watching the male go
inside. Scrunching her nose, she sighed a bit and rubbed the
back of her head. Ears slightly folding back as her tail swayed
back and forth in annoyance. "A name would've been helpful..
Guess I'll just go along with the scent then. As for attacking
me, eh... I'll try my best to avoid that." She said, mainly to
herself as she started off towards the congregation of the scent
that rested in the forest. Waving and smiling at the people in
the town, she finally came to the edge of the tree line and
stepped in, looking around carefully as she gave a sniff to the
air once more. Brunette locks shadowed her face slightly as she
walked in deeper and looked around. "Oi.. I was told there was a
boy in here some where? If you can hear me, let me know so I
don't spend time looking around for ya too much. The guy you
were with said I could come find you if I wanted to.. I'd much
rather you not be out here in the forest by yourself." She
yelled out, attempting to get him to speak so keen ears could
pick up his voice. The troubling thing about scents were that
they could easily be set up to be a diversion. Leaving a scent
everywhere or scrambled could often confuse most people. Her on
the other hand, she had a keen sense of smell, so she could pick
up the original trail due to the fact that it's a stronger scent
to her. Though that didn't mean she still wouldn't have a bit of
trouble, she was still learning after all.
