       Actually I can claim very little credit on those two. I have
       very little artistic skill of my own, something I hope to fix
       one day. The characters were made using a character creator on
       Deviant Art. Here's the male version:

       Then I just used GIMP, a freeware image editor to place them
       onto backgrounds. The avatar background is the interior of the
       TARDIS from Doctor Who (David Tennant Era), and the signature
       background is a location from the game Myst III: Exile.
