Locate Defectors

Keagan led Diego to the land of waves in which their mission was
to take place. It was here that the missing village of mist had
requested to look for shinobi defectors. The idea of shinobi
bugged Keagan but having someone like Diego put him at ease.
They were only here for intel and not to start a fight Keagan
couldn't win. So with that Keagan looked towards Diego for
answers.
They sat on the outskirts of the village looking towards the
village prepping to enter it.
"So what will you be employing? Some form of inner secret
network?"

Diego shook his head in response as he stopped his walking pace
they had made towards the village.
"No, we wait here."
Diego extended his arms before slowly preforming hand seals. It
was clear that Diego wasn't exactly quick at the art of hand
seals as it took him a while to mash the different seals before
ending on the seal for ram. (This normally would take 5 turns
but seeing as there is no battle or rush. There is no issue with
just a single post). When he had finished his hand seals a
murder of crows flocked overhead before scattering across the
entire village. Each crow had a mission to gather intel on the
defectors and their employers.

working for Gato company as a “deckhand”.

This irritable, homely young man with a love for good food comes
from kumogakure and claims to live with a magical being in a
house.

The crows commanded by Diego soared across the keys of the small
village in search for any notable figures within the area. After
a while of searching a single crow stopped on the top of a
rooftop looking down at a shiny object dangling over the
Kumogakure genin’s person. It was a headband used to define the
ninja as a ninja of the hidden village of the cloud. It also
deemed to show his status by how basic the headband was in
comparison to others who would receive special armors to
increase their rank showing the green on this kid as a genin.
The ninja only seemed to have two blades that he used for
primary weapons though with a shinobi you can expect the
occasion hidden items such as kunai and shurikens as a given.
The crow flies through the air once again seeing him working
with a group of individuals who boldly use the name Gato as
their employer without much second thought. No doubt he’s a
low-ranking member but it also is noted that shinobi don’t
normally work with gangs meaning he will most likely be a high
level combatant within their ranks. With those over him being
shinobi that have been hired freelancers looking for a quick
buck for a temporary cause. The crow continues its root before
heading back. Landing on the shoulder of Diego who seemed almost
completely unphased.
A moment goes by as Diego’s eyes stand there blankly
transferring the information gained by the crow as it flew
through the skies of the city.
“So, here it is. The information you seek is that there is
indeed is a shinobi within the ranks of the enemy. The enemy
goes by the name of Gato. Some mob boss of sorts that works in
the lower ranking sections of the world that has less ninja
control. He does have a ninja working for him but hes from Kumo
not Kiri. Also the ninja seems to be an expert in swords, two
short swords to be exact. Oh and I’m going to guess hes a genin
from the equipment and the way he hold himself. Hes green so hes
gotta be untrained. Seems to be one that is easily pulled
towards food and is easily irritable. Sounds familiar?”

“What’s his threat level to the village?”
Keagan questioned.

“Dangerous at a low to mid level threat? Hes a shinobi so I
would assume hes semi dangerous.” Keagan glaring at him as if he
didn’t care about his opinion, he had paid Diego for facts not
guesses. Prompting Diego to form a hand seal causing the crows
to send a single crow towards the location to see if this kid
was a threat.
“Okay, I’ll look into it. I guess we want to look to see what
hes up to and see if it’s a threat to the village rather than
his individual threat to the village. But the greater toll he
will reap with Gato.”
