Let the money do the talking

Keagan knew that he was outclassed for his latest mission. It
was nothing more than an intel gathering job from the land of
waves. Keagan has been able to do a lot of things over his life
in the ring and to survive. However, talking with people and
getting information has always been a hard one for him without
throwing a fist into someone’s face. However, he did have one
contact that he could call upon before leaving to the land of
waves. He stopped in on a small inn on the outside of
Kirigakure. Keagan had placed himself at the back of the inn’s
bar with two cups of beer sitting on the table. One for him and
one for his guest.

Diego’s shadow entered the doorway to the in causing his
presence to shade over Keagan as he moved across the bar.
Diego’s aura alone was well known within this bar already causes
him to get several staring eyes as he walked through the bar. He
carried himself with an air of confidence before stopping in
front of a women giving her a wink. He placed a few coins in
front of the bar tender causing him to slide her a beer before
he carried on to his seat with Keagan.

"Well, Crow. It's been quite some time."
Keagan stated before being greeted with a disgusted look.
"Not long enough, Keagan. You Ulrichs have always been such a
pain in the ass. Though the money flow for easy work normally is
nice."
Diego adds while pulling up the chair. His eyes spotted the beer
but hesitates to drink the alcohol at first.
"Don't worry, I didn't spike your drink. I got a business deal
for you."
Keagan's response was met with some disdain. Diego taps the
glass of cold beer causing the froth to fall down the side.
"It's not in my nature to drink before a deal is made. So strike
me quickly so I can enjoy this cold beverage."
Keagan looked Russo over. He was the fabled Crow of the Russo
clan. A ninjutsu specialist who used his ninja abilities to
scout out information on his targets with the use of crows. It
was highly valuable skill though this ninja didn't actually do
combat.
"So, I was given a information recon mission about some mist
ninja who might of defected. I need details on them. I'm willing
to pay 500 upfront. As I'm not a information collector I used my
clans connections to find you. So do we have a deal?"
Keagan requested of Diego.
"Location?"
Diego asked.
"Land of waves."
Keagan replied prompting Diego to rub his chin.
"Pays a bit light for travel. I assume you are aware that with
ninja are involved so are battles. This could be a bit rich for
my blood."
Diego added.
"Fine, I'll give you the lump some of 1,000 I'm getting from the
mission. I need the work so I can't afford to just pass this job
up. Getting a reputation is better."
Keagan replied with a bit of illustration. The beer has
obviously swayed at Keagan's relational mind causing him to be a
little bit more loose lipped.
"That, and I require a favor of my own."
Russo negotiated.
"What's the favor?" Keagan questioned.
"I don't know yet. But when I call upon you. You must heed my
request. Do we have a deal?"
Diego seemed like he wasn't going to budge on it. Keagan wasn't
really good at making deals to begin with but his word was his
bond.
"Yes, sure... whatever."
Keagan threw 1,000 ryo on the table for Diego to collect."
Diego snatched it up and began to count every cent to make sure
it was all there. Diego smiled, a first for him sense sitting at
the table. It was clear that Diego clearly scammed Keagan yet he
didn't seem to care to much.
"Well the deal is sealed. Lets drink to you Ulrich boys."
Diego downed the entire pint of beer within a few moments of
passing.
"We have women as well, you know."
Keagan mentioned. Prompting Diego to perk up a bit with
curiosity.
"If they all look as handsome as you. You will have to introduce
me to two or three of them. I mean, you can never have to many
wives."
Diego added with a few flashes of his eye brows.
