The Wrap Up

As the day starts to progress, shifting mists keep the true hour
somewhat of a mystery. Still, the group had seen no sign of
their sensei so Jiro continued running the drills. One after
one, their classmates fought until either knocked out, or
forfeit. Those who forfeited were then knocked out by Jiro.
"Gaaaah you guys are so slow! It took us forever to get down to
you two.."
Looking at the last two members of the class to go, Jiro crosses
his arms. He taps both of his heels as his body springs up and
down in place.
"I'm thirstyyy and I wanna go hooome!"

Matashichi hops about in place where he stood. He looks at his
opponent with a tilt of the head, just as anxious as Jiro was.
Maybe even more. Watching all these fights became the perfect
momentum builder for Matashichi getting to show off in the end.
"Shuuuuzooo~"
Matashichi leans forward and winks at his oppoenent with a
chuckle at the back of his throat.
"Aren't you afraid I'll make you uglier than you already are?"

Shuzo walked forward quietly. Watching what had been happening
so far was hard to take in. What a wind way to end the semester
with bodies littered all around them.
Shuzo finally drags his attention from the bodies to Mata, and
takes a slow breath.
"Oh haha, what a comedian. I'll clap your head."
Shuzo tilts his head, leaning back slightly to stretch, inviting
his opponent forward.

Matashichi narrows her eyes and clicks her teeth while taking
one step after another on to the field. Watching the other
fights, striking directly proved to work out poorly in most
cases.. especially considering his lack of strength, Matashichi
takes off running in an arc around his opponent.
"Stuuuupid Shuzo."
Matashichi reaches into their pocket and pulls 3 senbon out in
the gaps between his fingers. Now just 15 meters from their
target, circling around them, he hurls all three at his target,
expecting to play with him like a cat does its toy.

Shuzo drifts their body to the side, nearly losing their footing
before slapping his feet on the floor. He takes off, weaving
between the senbon like passing through a thin hallway.

Shuzo keeps silent as he comes in closer, clasping his fingers
together with his fingers weaving two signs. His eyes locked on
Mata, he swells with chakra in his lungs.
"Cold.."

Mata expected Shuzo to dodge, but also expected Shuzo to
underestimate him. He swings his right arm at Shuzo, while
keeping in pace with his circling. Waiting for an opening, Mata
throws 4 more senbon at the pursuing Shuzo. Running pace had
slowed, but his feet were nimble for reacting back.

Shuzo reacts the the incoming senbon by puckering his lips and
releasing a gust towards the senbon. The rush of cold ice mist
consumed the air and took the momentum out of the senbon, making
them hurdle back and drop to the floor.
(successful ninjutsu block: 56)
The mist continues forward, now coming in to range of
Matashichi. Shuzo stops in place. The mist spreads forward and
outward, creating a cone of 30 meters in length, with a 45
degree arc.

He expected to be able to consume more space than Matahsichi
could escape from.

Matashichi looks over his shoulder at the result of the oncoming
jutsu. He groans and slams his foot down on the floor to halt
himself. He attempts dashing to the side, before getting too far
from the origin of the cone, which would make it harder to
escape then.
(failed dodge roll: 63)
Mata finds himself caught in the mist either way,
underestimating how well the frost could disperse. He shuts his
eyes for a moment to bare with the shift in sight and then
flashes his pupils again towards the vision of Shuzo he could
still notice.
"Fucking.. cursed.."
He didn't finish the sentiment, but he took a few steps towards
Shuzo, trying to resist the ice.

The ice striking across their face makes Mata shiver and
struggle moving forward, facing a serious decrease in their
dexterity as they swung a punch at Shuzo's mouth.

Shuzo twitches at the sound of Mata's choice of words. Even
though cut short, it bought a permanent glare from Shuzo.
(successful dodge roll: 28)
Shuzo leans their head to the left, still aiming their lips at
Matashichi to douse them with a flurry, now made shorter to
adapt to the close range battle.
-5 chakra
Shuzo lifts their knee and rushes through the air to collide
with Matashichi's gut, now that their leaning body came over the
young Yuki's knee.

Mata groans as Shuzo persists, but their eye manages to pick up
the swing of their knee coming forward.
(successful dodge roll: 25)
Mata's bosy swings over to the side, keeping their footing,
allowing them to continue their assault towards Shuzo. Now
outside of the flurry, Mata swings a fist for the side of
Shuzo's head, aiming to end their annoying spray.
