I'm a genin kid now

Yoshiro greets the new day with a smile. A shining headband from
being freshly polished could be seen shining from his head. He
was finally a genin, something his family had planned for him
for a while now. Normally his family plans annoyed him because
he felt as if he wasn't in control, but with this headband he
would be able to explore the world and leave the grasp of his
family at last.
Yoshiro ventured through the streets with a grin soaked into his
face that didn't seem to fade no matter how bad things got. The
feeling of being an accomplished was a powerful tool at last.
Yoshiro had sent word to Sen'rei asking her to meet him at a
local suishi shop in hopes they could celebrate there promotion
into genin. He slowly creepped open the door hoping to find her
already waiting for him inside.

As Yoshiro expected, Sen'rei was already present, sitting at a
booth in a shadowy corner of the restaurant. She was dressed in
her usual clothes, but she had replaced her mosaic-patterned
hairband with her Konohagakure headband. A silver flask and a
glass of water sat on the table beside her. She was slumped
over, propping up her chin on her hands, with her elbows resting
on the table. It was a stark contrast to her usual perfect
posture. On closer inspection, her eyes were closed and she was
breathing quietly and rhythmically. She was fast asleep.

Yoshiro approches the table but unsure of himself. He wasn't
sure if he should say something or nudge her away. So he settles
with a happy middle. He places his hand on the table causing a
stubble knocking sound with his knuckles. Before waving
skittishly at Sen'rei.
"He-hello?"

Sen'rei's eyelashes flutter for a moment before her eyelids
glide open. Her lips bend into a small smile.
"Yoshiro. You're here."
She sits up straight, taking a deep breath through her nose. As
she exhales, she moves her elbows off of the table. Placing her
hand against the glass of water, she slowly slides it over to
Yoshiro.
"It's for you. Unless... You'd prefer something different?
Juice, perhaps?"
She speaks in her usual kind, unhurried tone.

"Oh, thank you Sen'rei"
Yoshiro slides into the booth on the opposite side of Sen'rei.
He began to look around the store a bit trying to figure out how
they order the sushi.
"So have you ever been to this place?"
Yoshiro asked while grabbing hold of the glass of water taking a
small sip to wet his lips.

"I haven't. I told the server that I was waiting for someone.
They said they'd return once you arrived."
Uncapping her flask, Sen'rei takes a small sip of the contents.
As she lowers it, her half-lidded gaze focuses back on Yoshiro.
"I don't believe I've said it yet. Congratulations on your
graduation."

"Oh, I see. I guess they will be over shortly in that case."
Yoshiro's eyes wander back towards Sen'rei.
"So, why is it you wanted to be a shinobi?"

A large thud followed by a scream could be heard just outside
the restaurant.
"F-Fo-Forty!"
Shun had collapased infront of the restaurant from all the laps
she did jogging with Tsukiko on her shoulders. The extra strain
of her weight coupled with her exhauation had finally caught up
to her, as it left her a panting mess on the ground.
"Told you 'pants' id made it 'pants' to forty."

Tsukiko screamed as Shun suddendly grinded to a stop collapsing
on the ground, as she was riding on top of her she fell face
first on the ground, getting a mouth full of dirt.
"Uggh *spit* could have given me a little warning before you
stopped, my face is all red and it hurts *sigh*"
Tsukiko gets up from the ground and dust her self off, grabbing
her book off the ground and holding it with her left hand while
she extends her right to Shun on the ground.
"Well atleast you made it to forty, surpased my expectation. We
should take a break and get something to eat."

"Sorry, my legs kinda gave out there suddendly."
Shun looks up at Tsukiko standing before her while grinning at
her comment, as early she dint think she would make it to 40
laps yet she did.
"You should know better then to underestimate my tenacity by now
fufufufu."
She grabs hold of Tsukiko's hand and gets up followed by dusting
off her self as she nods.
"I could use some food im starving from all the calories i just
burned. What about this place? We're already here, might as well
try it out."
Shun beggins to walk inside with out waiting for an answer as
she looks for a free table, spotting one that just so happens to
be next to two teenagers (Senrei and Yoshiro). She heads there
and takes a seat.
