       Question: Versions of MT01?

       Hi all,
A newbie just signed up as I'm pondering getting an MT01.....I
love the look & love the engine - I had a Warrior & still miss
       it!
My question is this: Was there a 2nd generation MT01? I saw an
advert stating that the bike in question was a later version &
therefore better but can find no info. online to support that
       statement!
Any info & advice from you folks very welcome! :)
       Andy

From 2010 (about) there were more stringent emissions
regulations, so bikes after that are a bit more lean running. I
believe the earlier bikes are more desirable. My 2c.

There was an sp version with Öhlins and some other goodies, but
they are like rocking horse shit and had about a £6k premium
       over standard.
There was also an MT01os which had a half fairing and single
seat unit, they are also pretty rare and I’ve never seen 1 on
       the road at all!
Other than that there was a gen 2 and the easiest way to spot
those with 6 pot callipers and a black engine- I think.
