Hi all, just thought I’d give you an update on progress and
share a few more photos as things move forward. What started as
me is now firmly a “we” as Andy from the Facebook group is
facilitating machining and Nikk from here, Facebook etc is
       coming in too.
The sprocket cover has been a pain to design but I think when
you see the pre-production piece you’ll agree it’s worth it.
It’s machined from billet 6082t6 aircraft quality aluminium.
       We’re just deciding on the anodising. We’ve also done a 2nd 3D
print of the rearset bracket as there were a couple of tolerance
issues and we can now move on to a pre-production piece.
Andy spotted a little problem in my plan and that is the
Yam/Rizoma sprocket cover was only for use with the racing
rearsets, so the plan now is to do a 2nd one that will work with
the standard footrests. We’re also thinking of another cover for
the opposite side to remove that piece of crap plastic too.
Please let me know your thoughts.

You'll notice how I blatantly ignore Tim's comment on fuel
       filler cap. :))
Ok just wanted to update everyone who isn't on one of the
Facebook groups. We thought it would be good to do a version of
the sprocket cover for those who don't want to fit rearsets. We
also thought it might be nice to get rid of the piece of plastic
       on the other side so there will be 2 offerings for this side;
one with another MT logo so you can have MT logos both sides or
one matching the 2nd bit of design work on the sprocket cover.
Cost of the sprocket cover will be £180 plus P&P the other cover
is TBA but it will be a fair bit cheaper than the sprocket
cover. Hopefully have some made by early July.

Apologies for delay with the project, I’ve been moving home back
to wonderful Yorkshire. Lots of work to do on the new house but
I’m meeting with Andy who’s doing the machining next week so
I’ll give you an update then.
