Its bound to be a slow start, but it will pick up.

To keep MT alive. I live in hope of a return to the good ol’
days 😄. Also to avoid normal social media outlets are
they’re all rigged

Same as most reply's here, carry on after MT finished and yes to
have a quick look around and have somewhere to ask a question
here and there.

The problem this forum has is there is no link from the original
MT site. MuscleTalk had tens of thousands of members, a large
franchise, and could be found in a google search by prospective
new members and the forum still died a slow death.
Even if you type 'MT Lives' into google this site doesn't show
up. How is the site going to attract new members? Word of mouth
lol? I think it's really quite shit that the MuscleTalk admin
don't or won't provide a link to this site to give it a better
chance of surviving. Feels like sour grapes to me.
Anyway I joined the site as I used to post on MT years ago and
saw the link to this site on FB.

MT Lives has nothing to do with Muscle Talk now, and the old
owners of MT decided not to run a forum anymore, I don't think
they want to be associated with a web forum now. "MT Lives" is
only a temporary name anyway. That's the message that I picked
up on anyway. Maybe wrong!

I was a member of MT for 15 years. Didn't post much, but browsed
regularly.
Guess I do the same here, so am probably on your list of members
with less than 10 posts!

Yes, I'm quite aware of all that.
It wouldn't have been much of an issue to supply a link to this
new forum from their 404 error page, even if it was just for a
fortnight or so to enable those trying to log in on MuscleTalk
to at least know there is an alternative forum ran by the old
moderators should they wish to join.
How many new members have joined 'MT Lives' in the last 10 days
or so? 3? A link from the old forum would have seen many more
I'm wagering.

It's the least they could have done. Out of respect for the
members and the moderators. Without them, they never would have
had a forum. Yet they decided to pull the whole thing with a few
days notice.
