A rather hectic weekend probably isn't the best recovery build
up to my peak week in the gym this week PWO recovery not helped
by me watching last nights NBA finals game rather than having a
doze either). Weigh in was 102.4 so a good start to the week.
Noticed my belt was 1 hole off my lightest weight I think too.
       Leg Press - feet low and out: 10x80, 120, 160, 6x220, 280x12,
       115, 14, 11, 8, 9
       Safety Bar - Wide Grip - pause: 6x80, 115x9, 8, 7, 6
       Hatfield Calves: 115x14, 13, 12, 12, 12
       Hamstring Extension: x60, 80x17, 14, 13, 11, 10
       Barbell Curl - close: 12x20, 45x14, 11, 9, 8, 7....40x5....25x8
Mobility work all went OK this morning (that will change during
the week no doubt). Same LP set up as last week with the mats, I
did try an extra mat and really went to get my knees to my ears,
1st heavy set and I could feel a pull near the groin area making
itself know so stopped that set early hence just the 12 reps,
went back to last weeks set, closer feet and was fine, banged
out some good reps on the same weight in the end. Really feeling
it by the end. Somehow got myself together for safety squats,
even went 5kg heavier. Bloody well felt every gram of it too.
Plugged away to match my first 3 sets then figured with reps
dropping a 4th could be squeezed in. All a bit of grind. Calves
were a bit better, maybe dragged the rests out a bit more than
ideal but all good enough. Another 10kg jump on ham exts, these
were starting to get hard now, glute niggle handled it OK but
legs were shaking. Not sure how I got the 5 sets done. Biceps
were no fun at all with my legs feeling the way they did, very
wobbly LOL. Same weight for safeties sake but more reps done,
even banged in a bit of a drop at he end.

Some of the effects in even recent movies really have dated.
That movie Independence Day with Will Smith was huge when it
came out. Remember seeing it when I was at school. Watched it
again last year and the scene where the alien wakes on the
dissection table was clearly a prop made of rubber... as it
bounced around on the screen it was laughable!
Nice legs bash mate! No mention of any sciatic issues so thats
       good!

Sciatic woes have been good of late.... it helps to keep squats
until later but when doing hinge work for hams to do them early.
Lower belt seems to help, as does probably being a bit lighter.

Good to hear sciatica has eased off bud. How much longer do we
       cut for then?

Be done by the end of the month I reckon. Should maybe see me
get to about 100kg. On the cusp now for length of cut duration,
nearly 12 weeks, but it's been a slow cut so can probably scrape
       a few more weeks out

Pretty sure I asked this on MT but cant remember the anser -
after cut will you be maintaining for a while or bolking?

Animal: no, all on a cruise ATM hence the huge weight drop in
       water at the start
Weird science... could job I wasn't fapping at that age (or was
       I!)
Jay: I will be doing shorter bulk and cut phases, I find
maintaining too much of a waste of time and energy outside of
       deloads or recovery time.
