The Filthy One: Dirty's Journal Vol 2
By: dirtyvest Date: May 30, 2019, 10:35 am

Do I need to start off summerising myself here....?
Unsurprisingly, last nights meal outing seems to have added a lb
or so, 103.4 this morning. It was worth it tho. Bit of a grind
today, felt quite tired, which could be hay-fever related (it
was also very humid). Still had a good one.
       Yolk Bar Good Mornings: 10x40, 10x60, 7x80, 105x15, 14, 13, 12
       Single BO Hamstring Curl: x#5, #4x14, 12, 11, 10
       Split Squat, Smith - Rear Elevated (+5kg): 30x12.... 35x12, 12
       Leg Extension: x#8, 11x17, 14, 13, 13, 12
       Close Grip Floor Press: 8x60, 85x13, 12, 10, 9
       Laying Cable Extension - X over: 20kg x11, 11, 10, 10
Mobility work done and ready to go. GMs got off to a nice start,
arse niggle holding up and managed to up the weight and still
smash the numbers out well, every set up at least a couple of
reps. Single work went upright and found an angle more glute
pull friendly (also helped trigger pointing it between),
struggled with reps a bit tho (perhaps down to GM work as well
as form focus) but did an extra set. Big jump up on split
squats, to be expected a bit, but an extra 10-15kg saw some very
nice reps done and quads instantly knowing about it. Same weight
on exts, lovely form and another exercise seeing a big rep jump,
especially at the start. Did a 5th set today and quads were on
fire at the end. Tricep work was decent, fatigue starting to
catch up but managed extra reps on the floor press work, they
did all require some work to get tho. Cable exts were done on
the heavier load of last week, certainly hit you, reps were
       decent enough.
This could be my last copy and paste over to UGM, which will now
be the original hoster of updates (unless we do all track down a
forum that will accept us deplorables) as I may be late on
tomorrow, looking at taking my son to Godzilla.

I'll still keep my journal going on UGM too. I have done all
these years so yeah, just habit. Every once in a while and old
friend pops back up on there so for the sake of a copy and paste
       it's no bother

It can indeed. Godzilla was alright... not epic, but lots of
monsters kicking butt and munching people
102.6 this morning so not a bad week weight wise
       Incline Dumb Bell Press - 45deg: 10x15s, 10x27.5s, 5x35s, 42.5s
       x11, 10, 8, 7
       Cable X Overs: 11x#5, #6x16, 13, 12, 12
       Wide Grip Barbell Row: 70x13, 12, 10, 10
       Rope Pull Downs: 10x#8, #11+2.5x15, 13, 11, 10
       Drag Curls - Smith Machine (add 5kg): 45x13, 11, 10, 10, 9
       Wrist Curls - Rack Pin Lever flexion: x15, 12, 10, 10
Feeling a bit tight even after mobility this morning but
eventually got moving well. DB work has been slow to progress
this block, not to sure why but I'll have a look-see. Anyway,
still got 3 extra reps out which is something, not sure there's
much more to be had next week, so we'll see. Pec dec went better
tho, extra set and good reps here. BB rows were up in weight and
reps weren't a problem at all, rope TPs were much the same, felt
strong and shoulder behaving. Kept drag curls the same and got a
respectable number of extra reps out followed by anther set.
Then some lever work for forearms again. Bit racy at the end
       ready for Godzilla.
