Can you become more prone to the effects of Oestrogen with age?

When I was 35 I could take between 750-1000mg of test a week and
now and again I would get sensitive nipples, in that time I
never too an Anti-e AI. Never had a problem with puffy areas.
I know there are many factors with hormones but, can this change
with age. I'm on a small cycle and I didn't any other meds,
basing my decision on previous times of using test.

A bit higher than it was 10 years ago, mainly belly fat, but
that's been coming down over the last few months.

i would say so because as you age your testosterone level drops
but your oestrogen level doesnt so you have more oestrogen
kicking about (in relation to test) year round when you're not
on cycle. also as your body fat levels increase this too, along
with oestrogen in beer and drinking water all mount up and lead
to the epidemic of mid thirties moobs you see on the beach each
year.
but as your body changes you can also change how you exercise
and what meds you take. I've honestly just started to see it as
part of getting older, i'm 47 at the moment and yeah it's
harder to lose fat naturally now so i go on a keto diet every
other month to keep my body fat down. i drink bottled water not
tap water to avoid the estrogen in that, i try and avoid beer
lmfao but thats not always er possible and i started trt to gain
some control over my testosterone level on a day to day basis.
it's no biggie but yeah i would say that as you get older your
body is more sensitive to oestrogen and i would suggest this is
because your natural testosterone level is declining so your
body is becoming more tuned to oestrogen being the dominant
hormone. body fat increases, moobs appear, sex drive dips as do
energy levels, recovery slows and you feel like cr4p.
the good news is that you're one of us so you actually know your
body and know it's changing how it reacts to stuff so you can
take action and resolve the issue, most people don't have this
ability or the resources to get the meds, they'll resort to
going to the doctors who will almost certainly just tell them
it's part of getting older and to feck off as they need to
approve the boob job for the teenager with low self esteem next
in line.
btw i know that's a bit of a rant but my mate who is late 30's
and who regularly grows just one moob but has visible abs was
told he'd just need to get used to it and his doctor would not
give him TRT or anti e's as getting old is natural, my mates mum
is on HRT tho with the same doctor.

Interesting thanks Ninja. I'm lucky, I do have belly fat, not
loads but it's there, but I've never had moobs. I've never
liked the argument that it's all part of getting old, I've had
female relatives that were given HRT and felt better for it, but
I know there are pros and cons of it. I was tempted to get my
own blood works done a few years back, but thought it would be
too complicated and expensive!

i don't think it's that expensive tbh and you can get your
testosterone level checked by your doctor on the NHS for free if
you're feeling a bit "less than" better that than filling you up
with antidepressants.
