Have had a Nintendo Switch for about 18 months. Getting bored of
it now. The choice of games is crap.

I used to play all the the time during the Gears of war/COD
days. I just don't really het the time these days. I still only
have a Xbox 360, but basically only play it over Xmas. My
favourite game on it is Command and Conquer Tiberium wars. I
loved playing that online, but it's impossible to find anyone on
line playing it these days. I liked Battlefield 4 too, they had
the best campaigns compared to all thebother shooters at the
       time IMO.

I'm antisocial gamer much like Jay. PC based.
I suspect the reason though is two fold: 1) I don't actually get
to play enough to get 'good' at a game (there are people online
that live on these things for christs sake) and 2) I tend to
gravitate to ones with good stories which are generally single
       player.
All time favourite is an old strategy game called Homeworld.
Also enjoy some FPS like crysis and RPG like Fallout 3/4 and
favourite RTS is supreme commander. Even a little horror like
Penumbra (scared the shit outta me more than once lol)
I have seen titanfall in the shop but haven't played. It has a
       good story then?
Next on my list is Bioshock -apparently it has an excellent
       story.

I used to be quite into it up to my early 20's. COD, Halo and
the likes. I remember when the 360 came out and it was sold out
everywhere, me and my mate managed to find one at an ASDA store,
we could have sold it on ebay the same day for grand, but we
just wanted to play it lol. I had a good setup in the spare room
at my parents house, as soon as I bought my house I stopped
playing. My sons got an Xbox 1, and I play fortnite with him
occasionally, I'm crap at it though. I'm not quick enough now,
like Brett says, you're playing against people who are playing
it all day every day. Fantastic game though, I would have been
all over it when I was younger.
I liked the online multiplayer modes but I still loved single
player campaign mode. I like the tactical, strategy games games
where you have to think a bit more rather than just running
around shooting like crazy. Tom Clancy's Spec Ops was a good
       one.
The old strategy games like Command and Conquer, Age of Empires
were the best. I actually sold a few retro PC games on ebay a
couple of weeks ago as they collecting dust, got a few quid lol.
Simulation games were prob my favourite, Sim City, Theme
Hospital, Roller Coaster Tycoon, the Sims etc... I could spend
       hours on them.

Loved C&C and red alert as a kid. Killed hours of my childhood
       on RA alone lol.
If you like those sort of games hands down supreme commander is
by far the best one I've ever played. It is well balanced,
computer AI ain't bad and it just looks amazing even though it's
getting on in years. You can zoom out to see the entire map or
zoom right in to a unit and see the recoil from it's gun.
Incredible detail. Think you can get it on steam now for a few
       dollars.

Looks good, although I would struggle to fit any gaming in these
days. Always wanted to get back into it though, it can be good
to switch off for a couple of hours. I'll have to wait until the
       kids are older probably lol.
