Any hobbies or other activities outside of lifting?

Does anyone do anything else besides lifting weights?
I do quite a lot of road cycling for cardio these days as it's
not as harsh as road running, though at 86kg I try to stay away
from any hills, which isn't too much of a problem in the deserts
of the UAE. Still get in 2 runs a week in between my cycling.
I also enjoy hiking and when in the UK will go traipsing around
the countryside for a week or two carrying everything with me,
always setting up my one man tent near a pub if possible. The
outdoors have always appealed to me.
So, what do you do besides lifting weights?

In my workplace there is a recurring joke we make whenever we go
on a course of some sort, and when the bloke training us gives
us the usual introduction period, we have to go around the table
telling everyone what we do and what our hobbies are, you can
always see people squirming trying to think of a hobby lmao.
I used to have loads, but since having kids my time is
restricted lol. Was massively into my MTBing when I was younger,
and have been doing more of that the last 18months and bloody
loving it tbh. The rest of my time is spent doing the house,
garden and general diy type stuff which I enjoy anyway so I
guess that could be classed as a hobby. I like to make and fix
things as well, I've got a little lathe that I was fixing up,
and I also built myself a CNC machine to aid me with my
projects, although both the lathe and CNC aren't quite finished
yet lol. Also love cooking. And my music of course.
A lot of my youth was spent fishing as well, and I intend to
take that up again when time permits.
Gym is my main hobby, but I consider that a lifestyle choice now
more than anything. I need it to function.

If you are doing it in your spare time, and you enjoy it, then I
would class it as a hobby.

Fishing.
Always fished since the age of 4 but mostly sea fishing with
relatives at that young age. When I was 12 me and some mates got
heavily into river fishing. That led onto carp fishing at around
14 and I was hooked (see what I did there). Every weekend and
school holiday had us night fishing all over the south. If we
couldn’t ride our bikes or blag a left we would catch multiple
buses and yomp with all our gear.
When I hit 17 and passed my car test a few weeks later we were
free!
Heavily carp fished until I was mid to late 20’s and then having
kids I didn’t have the time. It was around that time when carp
fishing really took off and every man and his dog would be at a
venue now. Far cry from when I was the only person on a lake for
days on end.
The last 10 years have seen no carp fishing in the uk from me at
all. Now I go to France for a week most years and book a venue
to myself and family/friends.
My uk fishing is now sea based again bought a 28ft boat 3 years
ago so head out in that when I can for Bass, Rays, conger and
Tope.
The sea gives me that freedom that carp fishing used to give me
before it got popular.

follow the NBA the way most of you follow football.
I'm enjoying introducing myself to the world of craft beers and
the like
