Does anyone use any other forums?

Its clear that a lot of members on here didn't really post
anywhere else, even with regards to general talk and not just
training related.
But does/did anyone actually use any other forums? Years ago I
would end up joining a forum dedicated to just about anything,
depending on my interests at the time, but now with the demise
of forums in general, it seems to be better to just stick to one
of the more popular ones.
Forums I used to use:
When I first started training about 15years ago I did the common
newbie method of subscribing to menshealth mag (yes, I know it
is pathetic lol), at the same time I also joined the menshealth
uk forum, which, looking back, was a pretty good forum with
sound advice from experienced people like on here, nothing like
the guff the magazine printed. I noticed the forum however got
shut down when I looked a year or so ago, probably due to lack
of traffic in the end.
I also was a member of a car forum, FEOC to be exact, which
stood for Ford Escort Owners Club, lmao! Which then changed to
Ford Enthusiast and Owners Club, in order to attract owners of
all things Ford. That was busy and I was on that a lot during my
boy racer days lol. I think that was shut in the end due to
similar reasons to MT, software out of date with no developer
support.
I used to be on a fishing forum and a bike (cycling) forum,
although those hobbies fizzled out as I got older, however I am
biking again now. Still a member of PinkBike and I like to lurk
on there.
Forums I currently use:
mycncuk, which is an engineers community for people who build
their own cnc machines. Traffic isn't high but it wouldn't be as
its a niche subject. Some clever people on there mind, I haven't
posted in years but I look at it regularly just to get my geeky
model engineer fix lol. I only post when I need to ask a
question as well, I'm not experienced enough in cnc building to
give out any advice.
DIYnot, I have only posted in a few times for the odd DIY
question, but other than that I rarely visit. It's still on my
bookmarks bar though lol.

Used to post on a road cycling forum and a squaddie forum.
Cycling forum was too left wing, squaddie forum too many walter
mitties and craphats. This is the only forum I post on nowadays
and the only one I've stuck with over the years, though with
quite large gaps between posts at times.

I still my my journal going on UGM, more out of habit as it's
VERY quiet over there nowadays but it's just a nice constant.
But otherwise no, never been that active. Have an account on
watchuseek which I only ever really use when I have some watch
buying funds available to get some ideas

related.

My forum use is extensive. I use a dedicated server to power up
my web browser for the different forums I use. Some may say it
has become a full-time job.

Is that one of those private groups where people pay you a
monthly subscription for your tips?
