Tuesday 18/06/19
Squats
70 x 2x5
110 x 5
130 x 5
140 x 4
145 x 5x2
Banded Speed Deadlifts
100 x 10x2
Standing BB Calf Raises
140 x 20, 16, 12, 10, 10
Russian Hamstring Curls
BW (band assisted) x 3x5
Squats felt good, added another set before the final working
sets. Decided I'm going to slowly ramp up the sets before the
working sets, each week should see a slight increase in overall
volume then. Was tempted at the start to see if I could carry on
doing more doubles, but I'm pushed for time as it is and by the
5th one I was ready to leave it there.
Deadlifts were done like clusters, so 30s rest between sets.
This made the 10 doubles feel harder but got through them in 5
mins.
Ham curls are feeling better already, the band makes progression
so much easier so I can feel improvements on this with every
set. Still bloody hard work though.

Were you able to pretty much keep the same speed/acceleration
for your speed deads?

Yes, maintained speed through all reps quite well. Not ready to
go heavier though yet.

19/06/19
Bench
bar x 20
40 x 10
60 x 5
80 x 5
100 x 3
105 x 5x2
CG Bench
80 x 8
85 x 7
90 x 6
Bent Over Rows
60 x 12
80 x 10
90 x 8
Dips
BW x 12
BW+5 x 10
BW+10 x 8
Plate Raises
15 x 12, 10, 8
Using half a foam roller now for my bench to help work on my
arch, felt weird but you can see how it will help, makes you
more consciously sink your shoulder blades into the pad in order
to keep stability.

Just don't let yourself relax and let the roller do the arch
work all for you, keep yourself tight. Looked decent tho

Great few sessions mate, I've been watching on IG when I've not
been here. When I first saw you I thought you were my
neighbour, the resemblance is uncanny. You are taller and look
more athletic though, even so you could be brothers.
Echoing DV, make sure you stay tight on the bench, if it feel
uncomfortable then you are doing it right.

He's a good looking dude then lol.
It does feel a bit uncomfortable, so I must be doing it right.

Not sure how to respond to that without it being weird and
uncomfortable...
