A couple of bangers there mate. Press looked way better than it
has before.
The bands made a huge difference to the Russian leg curls. Since
you can control more ROM you'll make more progress. The next
step is to try and control more of the concentric, after that
it's only a matter of time before you get full unassisted reps.

He said “I’m pretty strong for a bloke my size”
I would have punched him.
First time seeing you up close with that vid, you’ve got a
decent bit of muscle on you bud. Last few weeks have benefited
greatly.

As you’ve just started a strength block , now is the time to
act! Get a cheap foam roller ( pound store, Aldi /Liddell etc),
cut in half and use to make an arch for your bench. Put on your
bench for every pressing session for the next month, you will
then naturally be able to throw up a big arch!
Will do. I’ve got a foam roller I don’t use much anymore since
upgrading to a nobbly one, so I will cut that one up.

Do you always favour low volume?
Do you still think it’s low volume? I struggle to do more on OHP
day as I only have an hour to fit everything in.
For the other days at home I might be able fit more in, say
doubling the work sets to 10x2 instead of 5x2. Although I’m
pretty done in after the 5 tbh. Might be able to squeeze a few
more sets in though.

Cheers mate.
The band is a must, the ham curls are pretty much impossible to
do without them atm, so I need some assistance in order to
progress. Hopefully won’t take me too long before completely
unassisted.

He’s actually pretty sound, see him there most times I go. He
asked me what my background was, as he had seen plenty of blokes
lifting weights similar to me, but they were big blokes, whereas
I was in good shape but not huge. He did say ‘no offence’ haha.
I just told him I trained for strength, but wanted to have a go
a PL one day.
Thanks, quite pleased with how I’m looking at the moment muscle
wise, must admit though the TRT has benefitted the most here.
I’ve trained for 15 years, prior to strength I did mostly
hypertrophy based workouts, but I never looked like I even
trained. Sh1t genetics.

I think most people who train ‘bro’ style don’t really make a
difference to their physique. You see the same guys in the gym
year in year out and they don’t change at all and most are
winging it each session.
But when you switch to strength work, you follow actually
progressive programs/ routines you see results.

and ogling you is acceptable attention lol.

Definitely agree with that too. Programming is crucial when it
comes to strength.
Like I said Brett, I'm happy with any attention lol.
