If being used for a strength carryover I find deadlift rows the
most productive, for bodybuilding I find smith machine, chest
       supported or dumbbell rows better.
       Nice bit of work dude.

Cheers pal. I'm going to adding deadlift rows into my next
       strength cycle.

When the back was behaving I was always a fan of pendlays. Allow
you to reset the weight and look after the back more.
       Solid work mate!

       Friday 07/06/19
       Deadlifts
       70 x 2x8
       155 x 5
       165 x 4
       175 x 3
       185 x 1
       205 x 1
       BB Shrugs
       130 x 4x8
Finished off with some kettlebell swings, as I haven't done them
in a while. No point in logging though.
Deadlifts felt really good up to the 185, so just did it for a
single and thought I would try for a bit more to see where my
strength was. I didn't know how to approach it though, was
tempted to just keep going up in 10kg increments at a time, but
then on the other hand I didn't want to use up too much energy
incase I wanted to attempt a new PB.
So skipped 195 and went for 205 next, with the plan of going for
215-220 after if I felt up to it. The 205 didn't move as well as
the previous ones though in the end lol. I did setup for a 220
after just to see if I could get the strength from somewhere,
but never even broke the floor lol. So I completely ballsed it
up in the end for a new PB attempt.
I should have stuck to 10kg increments, done 195, 205, and then
tried 212.5 for a new PB but I got greedy lol.
Doesn't matter, it wasn't part of the plan anyway, I just
thought I would try as the previous sets felt so good.

       Saturday 08/06/19
       Strict Press
       bar x 20
       40 x 5
       57.5 x 10
       65 x 8
       70 x 6
       40 x 17
       Romanian Deadlifts
       80 x 4x8
       Seated Calf Raise (machine)
       160 x 12, 10, 8, 7, 6 (3 second pause at top)
       120 x 12 (no pause)
       80 x 16 (no pause)
       Single Arm Lever Rows
       45 x 3x8
Press moved great, well happy with these as they were rep PB's
for all working sets, particularly pleased with the 70 for 6
       reps.
That's it for this block now, I'm done with hypertrophy, 6 weeks
is enough. I feel good though, strength feels like is has dipped
a bit on deads and bench, but squats have felt really good with
       the higher rep stuff.
I have had the usual tightness in my back and shoulders at times
but nothing too bad, not the usual aches I get when training
strength. So the 6 weeks has done me well. But I can't wait to
start training heavy again. Gonna go for a hybrid/powerbuilding
approach, still undecided whether to do an upper/lower split, or
a program similar to what Nails does.
Cheeky little vid of my OHP, hopefully it wan't get banned by YT
for the music copyright claim lol.

I’ve always found big jumps better for 1RM. Little increments
take it out of you so much. By 185, you’re pretty warm already,
could have gone straight for a 212.5 PB even probably 215.
When I pulled 260, my last ‘warm up’ was 220. If I had pulled
240 first, I would never have got it.
       Deadlifting is a fickle mistress

Yeh you're right, I totally misjudged it. Doesn't matter though,
I will hopefully build up to my 5 plate goal on my next strength
       cycle.

You can easily remove tracks if YT remove your vid. Sometimes
it's only a few countries that won't see it, sometimes it just
       related to monetizing.
Solid couple of sessions tho dude. Bar moving well of late

Cheers DV. Bar has moved well in the last couple of weeks.
Looking forward to going heavy again though.

Nice pressing bud. A word of warning if you do decided to go
with something similar to me, the cardio will impact you
initially. Expect it to take 2-4 weeks before you are where you
expect as giant sets with 90 seconds rest will gas you harder
       than you expect.
