Your desire, dedication and application to learn and do this
yourself is seriously impressive. I'd probably lose focus 2 mins
in to any instruction video....

Thanks guys. This is a life long ambition to have my own
sanctum. Can you imagine how great it will be to just walk 20m
down the garden to my own gym. If I can’t sleep, I can go Bench!
No more waiting for racks, no more plebs fvcking up the bars. I
will miss the banter with the guys in the gym tho. There’s a few
competitive bodybuilders who train around the same times I do
and although I’m quite focused when I train, I will miss it. (
My 200 Bench is still the heaviest In the gym).

Weekend update.
3 walls up.

Front wall will be more tricky as I have to frame an opening for
the doors.
Hopefully roof will be on by next weekend and water tight from
above.
Soon be time to start ordering some gym equipment. I have £800
so far got equipment. Barbell and bumper plates first on my
list.

Build looks good so far mate, although it looks a little high,
maybe you should have dug deeper?

it is actually quite high lol, but perfect for me at 6'3" doing
overhead press. the digging made all the difference! the roof is
2.7m high at the back but only 2.4m above ground level!
