Coming along nicely mate!
What are you going to put on the floor to protect? The weights
you throw about it would want to be titanium lol

this has ben my main issue. i reinforced under where the
deadlift platform will be with 2 extra concrete pillars for the
joists to rest upon. instead of the standard 16 inch joist
spacing i went with an 8 inch spacing.. essentially, adding an
extra joist between to make the floor extra strong. the joists
were then covered with 18mm structural OSB board which is super
strong, they use it to build houses in America and can be used
for load bearing walls. On top of this, i will have 2 x 11mm OSB
structural boards and 18mm thick rubber mats sandwiched between.
this should be overkill and should easily take at least
500kilos. its 600mm of wood cushioning the deadlifts! only time
will tell if repeated deads will cause issue. im confident
though and i am going to make a concerted effort to lower the
bar under control at all times!

first lift will have to be.. a deadlift! platform is going in
first and rack will come later. i received my plates on friday
and bar should arrive on tuesday. platform should be ready by
friday so next weekend all going well we christen the dungeon!
very exciting!

its not a shed! its club house!
yeh weather has been good and been doing as much as i can. we
are good to go!
