My mrs tends to go that route and TBH it does seem as tho her
own clinician has more of a vested interest in her than any of
the others and things get answered

How is the training going mate? Does the wrist at least feel
like it’s improving?
I can see DVs point. Hopefully you get some answers soon bud.
Will you be able to bulk effectively with limited mobility?

Training around the issue which is limiting me to certain
exercises and weight used. Higher reps are definitely the order
of the day.
This week has seen bench press 65kg x 15s, squats 67.5kg x 20s,
lat pull down 65kg x 15s etc.
BB squats are uncomfortable due to stiffness and wrist mobility.
With the splint I can get things done but I did try it without
the other day and it’s a total no no.
Physio again yesterday. Ive got 30 degrees of movement which is
around half of normal apparently. They want to force it a bit
but understandably they can’t until we no if the bone has
heeled.
Bulk definitely depends on results but the higher rep stuff is
definitely doing something. I do miss pull-ups and dips. Had a
sneaky go a few weeks ago but it wasn’t a success.

Take solace in the fact that you are nearly a member of the
bench more than you squat crew.

Lol! Of which I am king!
Billy I wonder if you could do pullups by getting a piece of
rope and wrapping if around your forearms and hanging from that?
Like a gymnast. Dips I’m fresh out of ideas though.

Are SSB squats an option for you? They are not an easy option
but should not be affected my wrist mobility.

Good idea but as I train at home I can’t really justify buying
more equipment at this point in time. If the wrist turns into a
long(er) term thing then it will definitely be looked into.
I do have a trap bar, so as grip strength improves I may switch
to trap bar squats.

Interesting idea, does that mean you stand in the trap bar with
it across your shoulders like a sort of cambered bar squat?
