Not yet I don't think, no. Altho that will mean we loose the
ad-free option very soon. It also limits what we can and can't
do

I would say we need to wait and see what they charge first, as
we haven't got any idea what it will be yet. Will know soon
enough though.

Is anyone really that bothered about adverts? The only time
they pissed me off on MT (and then, it wasn't so much the ads,
it was more the general layout) was when the forum ended up
squeezes into 2/3 of the screen width, with a white bar on the
right (not sure if anyone else recalls this?) On my screen
(pre-widescreen days)
it
looked
awful,
with
the contents
of
every window
looking something
like this.
...But as for the ads, yes, is was a pain if they slowed the
loading of pages down, but other than that, I couldn't really
give a toss.

I'm not bothered, just as long as it does't mess up the content
and look and feel too much.

Yeah, we'll have to see how invasive they are.
I don't how it works exactly, $8 buys 50,000 ad free credits -
but I have no idea what that translates to by way of how long it
lasts on the forum before those credits expire
