I love bounty’s 😁
Sorry to hear that mate. You don’t need advice off some random
on a forum but I will say just having gone through all that, if
it’s really not meant to be it can be very cleansing. You won’t
see that yet but I’m time you will. Like DV said just keep
active and busy.
Pics look good mate you have a solid mesomorph frame. Tighter
waist will make you look huge! Solid training too mate.

I'll be fighting you for the Bounty's Brett!!!
That's sounding like a rough time, mate. Is it just the 2 of
you? Even with the gym as a distraction when something like this
explodes your head is never really where you want it to be but
getting the escape is a good thing otherwise you just think and
overthink things in to a mess. Like I said tho, don't
underestimate the value of forum anonymity for having a vent,
we've all benefited from it here

Hey up fellas,
Went off the rails a little since I last posted, but getting my
head back into it tomorrow.
Pretty much had no decent diet and barely trained since I last
posted. Did an alright job of not going off the rails though.
Only one night on the drink and stayed away from an drugs which
is always a bonus.
The night on the drink started as a couple of pints watching the
rugby and ended with me leaving a karaoke bar at 3am.
Back to the gym tomorrow starting with a good leg session to get
the swing going. Interestingly enough have seen some improvement
in the old knee since taking time away from the gym.

It's not surprising you needed some time out and you've done
awesome not to go right off the rails dude.
Good to see your getting back into training tbh it will do you
the world of good to chuck some iron about again.
Nice to see you back dude.

Was wondering if you were OK.... things still rocky back there
or started to sort themselves out?
Heavy leg sessions and week of DOMS will sort you out nicely!

We all need time out sometimes mate. Don’t beat yourself up.
Important thing is you didn’t drift too far out and you get back
on track to long term goals with renewed focus. 🙂

Fblock, Week 5, Legs
Cheers for the words fellas, it's been a messy week or so this
end. But back to the gym, back to the diet.
I'm going to embody the old quote "Break-ups create
bodybuilders.
I've removed all squatting and squat based movements from my
programme until the knee is sorted. Apparently if i go along to
the sports clinic at the uni i can get referred for an MRI
there, so I'm hoping thats the new path.
Tbh, this was the best leg session I've has since the knee went.
I feel like i keep saying that, so that can only be a good
thing. I'm using the lack of squatting asan excuse to hammer the
posterior and hopefully grow some meaty hammies and a phat ass.
Single leg press has gone from 100kg with discomfort to 160
discomfort free. Still can't support my bodyweight in a squat
though, so swings and roundabouts.
Some of the machines at this gym don't have the weights written
on the machines so I just count the plates

Replied on UGM (just to keep us both safe LOL). Feel for you
tho, just hope you can both find a way through where you can
both be at peace.
To hell with squats tho...

Now that's a comeback session......... awesome work dude.
Be good if you can get a MRI on the knee to see what the hell is
going on in there.

Not that you can ever diagnose via internet but what’s up with
the knee? Symptoms?
