Managed to claw back a few hours of sleep last few days so today
I felt a bit more prepared for this session. Seeing the boys for
a few nights and it’s the girlfriend’s birthday tonight -other
than that not too busy this three day weekend, just odd jobs.
Good to get on top of it as my car has finally died. Borrowing
dad’s car for now whilst he is away, but when he comes back he
will help me replace the cylinder head which will suck a
significant amount of time from my days off.
Excellent session was had today. Wore my contacts as I’m going
out tonight and there must have been some celestial observation,
because the gym was absent of the usual gorillas and was full of
attractive young ladies! Did my best not to look as I’m already
a lucky man but honestly I’m a sucker for leggings and they all
       sported them!
Anyway that’s not why it was an excellent session… everything
seemed to come together starting with the pressing going very
well adding reps to both. I considered putting JM presses for
the tricep movement but as I’m already doing these on D3 wanted
a bit of variety. I decided to try lying tri ext but whilst I
hit it hard I do find them a bit awkward. Pull-ups and rows also
saw a solid extra rep. Legs were a winner as always adding
weight to the ext and calf raises.

There's always something isn't there. Good kicking fixing that,
sounds like a job and a half... Just don't let it detract from
       the other half a birthday
Leggings today are boardering on obscene. Leave nothing to the
imagination and then half of them moan when it catches people's
       eye.
At least it spurred you on for a decent session

Yes big job mate! Have watched some YouTube videos and whilst it
doesn’t look too hard there’s a lot to do.
Yes the leggings are everywhere! And I love them! I often get
the girlfriend to wear them when we fool around! What a time to
       be alive! LOL

Feeling a bit lazy today and after dropping the kids at school I
almost talked myself out of going to the gym. I managed to
switch my brain off and autopilot got me there. Once inside I
managed to get the game face on. Lots of doms in the upper body
today most noticeably triceps. RDLs I added a touch of weight
and whilst I didn’t think I would make the full set I was
pleasantly surprised. Last rep was a struggle though. Sled
squats also saw an increase but again I was up to the challenge
even squeezing another rep beyond the target ten.
Loving the pec dec at the minute, seem to have found the sweet
spot. Upright rows have been flying, so much so I was having to
check form was still on point today. Added weight and surpassed
reps! Rope press downs I braved the doms and managed to dig a
       few extra painful reps out.
Lat pull-downs was where this golden session stalled. It was a
mammoth struggle to just make reps. Not even a fraction of a rep
left here and not sure why. Inverse rows I find my grip is
letting me down so I will strap up next time. Despite this I got
two more reps. Rather than use a proper barbell i decided to use
the presets and squeeze 2x 1.25kg plates into my grip. Was it a
good idea? Might have held me back a bit but happy with how it
       hit.
I rewarded my efforts when I got home with a big bowl of cereal
and after tidying up played some video games! First time in two
months! I’m on afternoons now but at least I’ll spend some
quality time with the girl tomorrow and then gym again before
       work on Saturday.

Nice bit of 'you' time there. Sounds good. I on the other hand
walked 15km in high winds... Such a relaxing holiday lol

       gained a millimetre lol

Very busy day today. Had to cut sleep to 6.5 hours so I could
fit the gym in before visiting the boys and then off to work.
Also finally got the court paperwork from the ex so I will be
off to get that witnessed and hopefully lodged online tonight.
Noticed shoulder has been a bit off last few days and I’m
starting to suspect those BB curls. Doing the kettlebell presses
in the warmup set it off a bit. No real problem though doing
pull-ups grinding a few extra reps out. UH rows last rep was
perhaps an inch short of complete but I’ll count that given how
long the static contraction hold was lol.
DB pressing was the concern with the shoulder acting up. Decided
to push on given it’s an inflammatory issue rather than
mechanical. Actually seemed to help. Seated pressing on the
other hand aggravated it again. Thy pressing giveth and then
taketh away. JM press felt good but in hindsight probably could
       have bumped it 5kg.
Plan was to skip legs today but I was making such good time I
squeezed them in. Glad I did too- lots of reps were uncovered.

No excuses on the legs I guess with just the iso work to worry
about. Funny about the shoulder, but then mine is also odd in
the things I can do compared to what I can't.
Looks like you are finally getting to draw a line under that
previous chapter of your life, will be nice to be able to give
the new relationship the full 100%

Still a bit of work yet. Hopefully the proposal is approved by
the court. Then there’s transferring the house, tax implications
       and sorting loan out etc.
This i all just the assets though. Actual divorce will come
       after that.
       But yes finally moving again.
