So you think being sparked out in training 8 days before a HW
fight wouldn't have an ill affect on performance?
Forget about his boxing skills or lack of, did he seem to look
like a super athlete to you? Absolutely no snap or urgency about
him at all, clearly still concussed.
Glass jaw? Did you see or indeed HEAR the right hand he took off
Klitchko, that shot would have knocked a horse out.

It could have an effect of course , but had he been concussed I
very much doubt he would have been cleared to fight , the safety
checks are seriously extensive. He's a heavyweight whos been on
the floor 5 times and was lucky not to go down v White. You may
well be correct something wasn't right.
Pretty sure every fighter will get punished while sparring , so
its a bit of a cop out excuse imo, thats if it is the official
excuse , Hearn has dismissed this and in the post match press
conference he seemed fine , personally I think he was just
beaten.

I watched the whole fight again last night and the take home
points I saw even before the fight starts :AJ kept Ruiz waiting
in the ring for 15 minutes, when he does finally appear he is
constantly stretching and messing with his neck, when he gets in
the ring the corner start massaging his neck, and in the ring he
has his gumshield hanging out of his mouth the entire time. Very
odd indeed.
We won't now know until the rematch whether he was injured or
just simply had no answer to Ruiz. The problem was, every time
he engaged him he was much quicker to the counter and has a
granite chin. I can't wait for the rematch.
