Are you saying he filmed the post match press conference before
the fight ? He looked fine then.

They've triggered the rematch clause! No surprises there though.

Loads of British HW's talking about Joshua being knocked out in
sparring.
No surprise there Wolfy.

that crossed my mind (despite arguing that any world champ
should be at the top of their game enough to adapt) I would have
thought if you spend a while having trained around meeting a
certain fighter and style, almost ingraining a degree of muscle
memory in response to what you expect to meet, a change of
fighter could leave you open to weaknesses not trained/prepared
for, no? (And yes, I appreciate the same prep issues applied to
Ruiz).

Unfortunately AJ doesn’t prepare for his opponent. During
interviews he said he’s only interested if they are a southpaw
or an orthodox. He just practices the basics to improve himself.
‘If I’m the best I can be, nobody can beat me so why focus on
them’
Lots of rumours doing the rounds that he was sparked in sparing
which destroyed his confidence and caused a panic attack in the
dressing room pre fight. His dad wanted the fight called off but
Hearn insisted it went ahead. That’s why Dad was shouting at
Hearn post fight.
Who knows for sure. Excuses always come out after defeats.

Yes, been hearing that about the KO over the last day or 2.
Every opponent in every sport has a 'reason' for their loss, way
of the sporting world and probably makes the loss easier to
swallow if you can put some blame somewhere, interesting that
the stories for his do mesh together, circumstantially at least,
with the actions of AJ and others

AJ as recently had that HGH look about his midsection IMO. Only
subtle but shows in some pics

Agree Tri , but it could be natural , he does look like a high
HGH type person.
As for getting sparked out in sparring , that's always gona
happen if you've got a glass jaw . Might be the best thing for
his career this loss . Never did Lewis any harm but that was a
super punch of Rachman . Seeing how out of his depth he was in
this matchup shows very low fight IQ , an opponent he should
have dominated completely. I think if he sparred with Fury he
would probably retire, but thats the kind of opponent he needs.
Very bizzare to see possibly the most well built and genticlly
gifted specimen of a heavyweight to be so lacking.

TBH Doc, I worry about him taking the rematch with Ruiz next
fight.
David Price messed up his career when he re matched Thompson
after a bad loss and it all went wrong.
Bit of a class difference but same principle. :D
