I thought the shots to both sides of the temple in the 3rd were
the shots he just didn't recover from.
The main problem is he totally underestimated Ruiz and paid the
       price for it.
He needs to move his head more, he's just a sitting target and
he needs to use his bloody jab and reach to his advantage.
Very strangely he just didn't appear to want to be there. I
think a few things are going to come out in the following weeks.

I'm only ever something of an armchair critic... but one thing
that crossed my mind (despite arguing that any world champ
should be at the top of their game enough to adapt) I would have
thought if you spend a while having trained around meeting a
certain fighter and style, almost ingraining a degree of muscle
memory in response to what you expect to meet, a change of
fighter could leave you open to weaknesses not trained/prepared
for, no? (And yes, I appreciate the same prep issues applied to
       Ruiz).
And what's this about him commenting in the corner "why do I
       feel like this?" mid-fight?
NB: I haven't actually seen the fight

       He was knackered!
If i had to guess , he trained like sh1t for a lesser opponent ,
did too much TV stuff and went in ring rusty . In a rematch I
just don't see how he wins , look back at all the AJ fights and
you'll see a lot of weaknesses and poor resilience but him being
an absolute machine has got him out of trouble in the past .
Fury has proved he can take a good shot , I dont see him beating
Fury at all , dont think you can train Jelly legs and dont think
he will ever be fit enough to move and box like Fury , his best
bet is to take on wilder and hope that he gets the KO ( which is
       a possibility)

I agree, that doesn’t look like a fight he ever wins. Even when
he knocked Ruiz down it was more he caught him off balance than
       rocked him.

So many people have always been so up on Joshua, go back a while
and the potential is/was huge, but am i the only one who thinks
there is a clear disparity between his boxing and his cardio?

definitely not the only one , hes not a scrapper , only
comfortable when hes fighting someone who he completely
dominates physically . Too much profile raising and TV
appearances I would guess , there's not much you can look for in
that performance thats a saving grace.

He doesn't just become a terrible fighter overnight, I'm not
saying he doesn't have flaws, he clearly does, but so do Wilder
       and Fury, glaring flaws.
The rumour going round is he was knocked out in training a few
days ago and he was suffering with a concussion.
He has fought some fierce opponents and knocked them all out
other than Joseph Parker, who incidentally went the full 12
       rounds with. I

You don't see how someone with a huge reach and height advantage
       could beat him?
Use your jab and don't engage with your opponent on the inside.

I agree and thats hows hes got by in the past, put someone with
a decent chin infront of him and hes going for the KO and hes
got no choice but to engage someone on the inside , those shots
from Ruiz didnt look like bombs of any kind or a flash knock
down , if he uses his jab to fend of an opponent like that hes
gona gas pretty quick ( based on that performance)
How on earth is he gona keep someone like fury at bay ?

I genuinely think he was suffering with a concussion. The signs
are all there, looks uninterested before, during and after the
fight, bruises on his face and body, neck massaging, talking
nonsense to his corner, his dad going mental at Eddie Hearn
       after the fight etc.
