Was just looking over another post about someone's low sperm
count and questioning how to improve it as he and his partner
were trying for a baby - Reminded me of my experience with the
ex-wife. She had PCOS (Polycystic ovaries) and for her to
conceive she had to work so hard to lose 4 stone and then have a
course of Clomid, to-ing and fro-ing to the hospital for tests
monthly etc, all of which we were so grateful for as we got our
son. But when we went back a few months after he was born and
wanted to try for a 2nd baby we were told 'Sorry, you get one
baby free, you now how to pay for private treatment at £300 a
       month'
To put that into perspective that is one appointment with a
specialist for 30 mins who checks her weight, tells her she
needs to lose more weight and she won't get any more Clomid
until her BMI is below 30 - We've both worked since 16 and
always paid NI and taxes but apparently that doesn't count for
anything ? But if anyone abuses their body i.e. Alcoholic who
needs a liver op/treatment, Heroin addict who is prescribed
Methadone or needs new teeth when they've got none left,
overweight fat knacker who needs a hip/knee replacement this
apparently is perfectly fine and qualifies for NHS treatment but
we couldn't get free treatment for a 2nd baby ?
Anyone else feel the system is all wrong and the dregs of
society get priority for support when they should be refused
treatment/benefits ? Worst thing is that you can't change any of
this, not by writing to your MP or by voting >:(

I don't think anyone should be denied treatment personally , but
I also don't think the state should have ny involvement in it
whatsoever , I have been warning for years about medical mafias
and totalitarianism because its controlled by the state . It
should just be a privatised service , like iphones, Pc's,
trainers. This would incentivise people to keep in good health
and you wouldn't be raped each month when you get paid paying
       health services we dont need.
Alcoholics and drug addicts get extra payments for being classed
as an addict , this leads a lot of people to up their usage so
they qualify , which leads to poorer health , more taxes
       infinitum.
I also dont think now is a good time to have any more children
to be honest , we are pretty much going through a cull.

The current spending on Covid to save a life is massive.
Read all kinds of numbers but a few million per life is common.
Yet young kids are refused expensive treatments if its not
       judged as being reasonable.
Average age of a Covid victim is 82, average life expectancy is
       80.
       Odd values they have.

I think the NHS needs too go, its not fit for purpose. We should
bring in private health care, that way people who are
fat/smokers or people who just don't take care of themselves in
general might might take their health more seriously.
