Back the beginning!

It’s been so long I didn’t even realise MT forum had closed
down!
So I’m fat, not lifted weights in like forever and want to lift
again. I don’t want to be a bodybuilder, I don’t want to compete
as a power lifter, I just want to be strong and train
specifically for strength.
Any suggestions for a beginner strength workout please?

For something basic, simple and easy to follow I always like
pointing toward Candito Linear stuff which a quick google should
get you to. But that would be a legit beginner strength thing,
frequently lifting the big lifts with some accessory work so
your mind needs to be in that frame

I was 6 weeks out from my qualifier ( bodybuilding ) and after
the lockdown im around 60 weeks out.
Eating back on track , training very basic until my stamina
comes back .
10 sets per bodypart 6-7 main compound lifts and the other just
going for the feel and getting my form right again.
Need quite a few physio sessions in the first 5 weeks aswell,
back/neck nigles . Just stick with the basics , low volume and
stay heavy , once your strength is coming back reassess.
