AAS and Statins

Evening All. On reaching the ripe old age of 50, and with a bit
of a family history of heart disease, I decided to put my
private health insurance to good use for a change and get a
fairly thorough heart check done. Got ECG, Echocardiograph which
were both fine, and had an Angiogram last Saturday. The
cardiologist found a small bit of plaque as he called it on some
of the coronary arteries, but no stents or anything needed, so
not too bad. He wants me to start on statins though, at 20mg a
day to try and stop/reduce any further plaque built up. My
cholesterol levels are normally fine ( when checked off cycle
anyway ), but he still seems to wants me on the statins.
Do you know if any interaction between statins and AAS?. I am
due to start a new cycle shortly. Just Sust at around 500mg a
week for 10 week, and have a bit of dbol left over from a
previous cycle, so might run that for the first 4. A bit of
adex, about 0.5mg twice a week seems to work for me. Nolva for
PCT. Should I stop the statins on the cycle?. Cant seem find
much if anything about an interaction between the two on a
google search. Thanks

I'd be interested to find out the answer to this too, my brother
52 is on these he's had stents too he's never taken AAS, ive
read certain journals that say they do nothing to reduce
cholesterol more a placebo, well done on getting tested though
mate I'm 41 and have done quite a few cycles since I was 25
there is family history of heart disease in my family aswel I
should get tested but being honest I'm shit scared of knowing
the results, plus if anything is wrong I wouldn't be able to do
another cycle stupid I know

The statins will not have an adverse reaction with the AAS. The
statins can cause loose stools. I don’t like them but I don’t
like the idea of a heart attack either.
