any idea what federation you will join? I'm part of the BDFPA
but I haven't actually done a meet yet. Something I need to get
into my own head, is that while powerlifting is a competitive
sport, ultimately it's you against you. So your number don't
matter that much as long as you improve over time. Easy to say,
less easy to do and I certainly need to take my own advice here.

Yep, that fed was the one I was looking at. Definitely a tested
fed although I need to read the rules as I did try some
questioable orals such as Ostarine and mk677 in the past so
don't know if that rules me out.

Hmm, I don't know answer to that. How long ago are we talking?
I'm all for fairness of competition an maintaining the integrity
of the federation but if we;'re talking about the odd cycle 10
years ago i don;t see how it will make any difference. I don't
mean this to sound unkind but it doesn't look like you'll be
setting any records in the near future. I didn't look into the
specifics of what is and what is no acceptable to the fed, I
don;t have anything to worry about on that front.

Technique is key at the best of times but in PLing, optimal tech
is paramount

Long arms certainly don’t make benching any easier lol. Silver
lining they look more impressive on someone that does have some
size.

If I do follow through with entering a comp I will certainly
contact the officials/secretary and be honest with my previous
supplement use and see what they say.
I couldn't sleep last night because of the rage inside me having
read your comment about me not breaking any records 😜
Weighed in at a light 80.75kg this morning
A couple of hours at the land this morning finishing off the
last few stables full of shite then onto the hard work.
Squats - I failed my 3x5 attempt at 120 last time out so reset
10% (well almost)
112kgx5x5x7. The 7 is a post accident rep PR at that weight so
good news.
Bench. I've been watching a lot of Owen Hubbard and his amazing
Bench technique this week. Anyone who can bench 215 .5kg in the
83kg class (WR) needs bowing down to. Helps that he trains 10
minutes from my front door.
Still no way in hell I'm getting into an aggressive back arch
like some of these more compact guys but as I had to reset 10%
on bench I made some adjustments.
Bench 76kg x5x5x6. This just won't happen for me. My PR bench of
120kg years back must have been as illegal as hell.
BORs 3x5
Dips 3x12
Preacher curls 2x10
Added at the end.

How often do you bench mate? Possibly a heavy session and a
speed session could be beneficial?

With all my knocks and niggles a lot of strength I had has gone
to pot (obviously neurologically I don't train it either) but
bench is certainly the most notable decline

Bench will come back with time and calories mate. No worries.
Provided your wrist/hand is solid of course.
