Billy, those are nice sleeves, I love my Rehbands. A good set of
neoprene sleeves is the sensible choice for longevity, not so
much is this heat but when winter hits, that when they come into
       their own.
Newcy, just filling the void mate or trying too at least.

I'm certainly enjoying them at the minute. Even if they are a
       little sweaty at the end!
       Deadlift session 2
Proper head feck this one. I told you guys I did 130kg last
time. The training book said I lied and I had 120kg written
       down.
Decided on doing 130 just in case my log was wrong (written at
the end of the lift, shouldn't be wrong). Then I thought, 'what
if I did do 130 last time, I will just be treading water'.
       So,
       Deadlift 132.5kg X 5. Either a 2.5kg increase or 12.5kg from
       last time.
Pull ups 32.5kg 3 sets of 5. Supposed to be 32kg but couldn't be
arsed with all the micro plates.
       OHP. 52kg X 5 X 5 x7
Paused bench, Tri extensions and BB curls completed as well.
3/4 of the session done I spotted a car rolling backwards down
our quiet street next to a kids park. Ran out and stopped it.
Got a few teenagers to hold it whilst I ran back to my garage
and got a couple of spare wheels to shove behind the cars
wheels. Kids brought my wheels back later and owner apparently
drove away embarrassed having had 5 kids teach her how to apply
       a handbrake.

I'll take that advice for my balls as well in this weather.

Should have taken her wheels ....
Good to know kids are still helpful at times.
Nice work mate easing in gently. Knee sleeves are something I’ve
never really considered but my right knee has been playing up on
the hack squats of late. May have to revisit.

It's good job there was someone like you that was able to stop a
rolling vehicle. In the age of fragility, most people simply
would not be up to the task.
I've found kids of all ages to be helpful when there is a task
they can complete and be successful. Even more so if there can
be some sort of bragging rights associated. This is more boys
than girls, boys tend to be more motivated by physical
challenges like this. That is in my experience at least.
My knee sleeves get a wash once a week but I never tumble dry
them. So on Monday they are nice and fresh and slightly snug,
by Friday they have loosened up and smell like vinegar. They
are usually wet when I put them on most days as well. Yummy.

Yeah, the boys were absolutely full of it all evening. Walking
around like superheroes outside the play park.
Think they enjoyed bringing my wheels back as they got to see
what the weird man is doing inside his garage with the door half
       pulled down.
Knee sleeves will be washed after Saturdays session as that
gives two clear days to get them dry.
Watching YouTube vids on powerlifting meets to convince myself
to work towards one. Feck me I need to work on technique but I
will still be hampered by genetics. Bench my biggest weakness is
so obvious, these guys have a range of motion that looks like
6-8 inches. I'm moving the bar 2 feet from lock out to arched
       chest.

That's a nice story mate, sounds to me like you just became a
       role model.
I need to get on that powerlifting train as well. Do you have
any idea what federation you will join? I'm part of the BDFPA
but I haven't actually done a meet yet. Something I need to get
into my own head, is that while powerlifting is a competitive
sport, ultimately it's you against you. So your number don't
matter that much as long as you improve over time. Easy to say,
less easy to do and I certainly need to take my own advice here.
