       Playing vídeos from an iPhone on Sony TV

       Hi all.
       My dad has an iPhone 10 and a new Sony smart TV.
       We can't get the iphone to mirror with the TV though my Samsung
       S9 did no problem (I'm guessing because both are Android).
       Is there any software my dad can install on either his iphone or
       his TV to enable him to watch videos from his iphone on the TV?

       probably easiest if you get an Apple TV or an android phone tbh,
       there are some purchasable apps but they are seriously laggy .
       so you mirror through the app and not the apple screen mirror
       settings
