Ditching Sky for Freeview

Has anyone done this Nd found a good freeview bow? The only
thing I really like about Sky is the Sky Q box. Apart from Sky
Atalantic I pretty much only watch the freeview channels. Are
there any Freeview boxes people recommend for recording things
and using Netflix? Last time I used Freeview the boxes were crap
and trying to get a decent signal was a nightmare.

I'm the same, Dazz. Other than Sky Atlantic and Universal I
pretty much only watch Freeview channels.
Obviously Freeview is built into most TVs these days, but the
thing missing is the option to record and pause live TV etc.

a lot of the content on freeview is the same as having an ariel
(DTT) from my pov but depends if your looking at freeview sat or
freeview terrestrial ?
I just use netflix these days , I think its pretty damned
awesome , I have prime too which isn't quite as good , but still
ok. I don't have to pay a TV license as well
The only thing I watch on live TV is motogp and I can pick that
up from other places. What is on Sky atlantic that you cant pick
up on Netflix or prime ?
I think sky atlantic is exclusive to now TV and Sky so you
pretty much tied into a expensive contract , but you could
always keep the dish and get a freesat receiver(with a
harddrive) and use netflix instead of sky atlantic
