Bowness is my favourite place in the Lakes.
I must make more effort to go over!
We tend to stay in Northumberland and occasionally down to N
Yorks.

Unfortunately 'hidden Northumberland' is no longer hidden. Lots
of tourists now, especially in the coastal towns and villages.
