       Recommended audiobooks

Hi all, looking for some recommendations. Something not
depressing, I have the Golag Archipelago downloaded already for
       that.
Listened to Tyson Fury, pretty good but pretty light on detail.
Michael Bispings was really good. Anything similar or not I’ll
       give it a listen.

Not sure what you’re into mate but I’ve been listening to the
       dexter books on audio.
I like the dexter series but never have time to read a book so
listening to it during the drives to work is great.

Interesting. I’ve watched all of Dexter and loved it. Still
worth giving the books a shot?

creature from jekyll island is probably the best i've listened
       too.
       Art of seduction
How to win friends and influence people
       48 laws of power
12 rules for life is a bit hard hitting, chapter every few weeks
       to get through that one.
Dont do much fiction , I save all of that for Nexflix.

I watched G Edward Griffin speech on CFJI for a few hours one
day Doc, absolutely fascinating, beyond reality. I’ll check out
the audiobook now you’ve reminded me. Cheers

Missed this one , ive watched the series and its probably the
best i've seen (first 6 seasons)
Is the book a new story line and is it worth a listen after
having watched it ? I would defo give this a go if it is.
I did listen to Hunger games on audiobook and that was a good
       9/10

Yeah the dexter books are good. The stories for the books are
quite different. The TV series took the main character and most
of his background but then essentially wrote new stories.
My only complaint is that they use different narrators
throughout the books. I get used to one voice then start a new
book and it’s different. Only bothers me for a chapter though
until I get used to it. Don’t know if this is a common thing for
       book series.
       I recommend them.
I might look at the hunger games if that’s good?

yes it was good , watched the first 2 at the cinema , then
watched the last 2 after reading the full audiobook , so was
easy to picture the characters as I knew most of them , I think
this actually made it better . They did a pretty good job of the
film compared to the book .
I do like books that are narrated by the authors especially if
i've listened to them online , like Richard Dawkins, Rupert
Sheldrake, Jordan Peters, Robert Greene. If you know how they
sound and how there tones change it does make the books better
       imo.
       Dexter next on the list!

A lot of time for Dawkins and Peterson.

I’ve got 12 rules for life hardcover, not the easiest read. I
found myslef churning through pages but not taking it in so put
       it down for a bit.
Listening to the first Dexter book now, really good but making
me want to watch the series again.
