Apparently not fulfilling their products with what the labels
       are claiming, thoughts guys?
Been using them for years so a bit disappointed to hear this.

Very worrying! They’re a huge company with a good reputation.
I’ve used them for the last 6months

And a £100k fine is massive. It must be pretty serious

So it's for basically inflating the claims of what their
products can do rather than actually not putting in them what
they claim there is..... are we surprised that the fitness
industry is found to be doing this? They've been doing this for
       decades
It's not good, but it's not as bad as all the underdosing and
false ingredients claims from a few years ago if I am reading it
       right.

Yes MP got found out a few years back if I recall. It is very
worrying though as we put a lot of trust and money into these
products so for me it matters what they are claiming to do or
contain and then not backing It up whether it’s a big lie or
small lie, either way it’s out of order and how many more
companies might be at it too?

I think the fitness industry must be amongst the worst when it
comes to deception and smoke and mirrors. If there are to be £
to be made then honesty and integrity goes out of the window.

Apparently they received 7 warnings before this case was brought
to court. I’m not being funny but if I was warned 7 times I
wouldn’t be doing it an 8th time.
The size of the fine for me reflects the severity of the crime.
Think I’ll switch to reflex or optimum nutrition for now.

It's not mis-labeling tho in the sense that they claim to have
30g of whey when they only have 10 and the rest is pea.... it's
for having a low protein product but in marketing it they have
pushed the value of it's protein content in achieving desired
goals a bit much. Kind of like the 'high' protein vereals that
only have about 10g per serving who make a lot more effort to
push the values of their protein content when it is only about
2g higher than their 'non enriched' brethren.
I dunno, this one doesn't bother me TBH

I know what you are saying DV, I just don’t like being lied to
if I’m honest about anything, especially when I’m giving them my
hard earned dollar. See what comes out in the future. Not sure
if BP have released an official statement yet either which is
quite surprising. Plenty of offers and emails coming into my
inbox all of a sudden though.

It's more a marketing fallacy/exaggeration than an outright lie
tho isn't it? Promotional stuff is rarely that honest IME,
almost every company could be accused of much the same thing.
I do get the frustration and the issue with trust, it just looks
like they took something a bit too far rather than being
       outright deceitful
