That may be one perk of the social media age. It wouldn't be
hard or expensive to get the name and forum out there in the
public domain.... should that be the desire. A bit of generic
apparel all logo'ed up etc. Maybe it will reach a point where
some proper branding will need sorting, maybe one day a name
change. We are definitely blessed with admins and members
skilled in many aspects that could get this done effectively I
think when the time comes

The name does need changing without question at some point. This
is more of a stop-gap, transitional forum description

I like it... Depending on how you read it it either describes
this forum's purpose or us as users since it's demise! Not sure
if that was the intention.

Well, I thought that MT stood for “Making Threads” 🤥
Not these though...
Member Talk - While I’m a cock myself, and often talk about
myself, the name may attract the wrong demographic.
Man Talk - Sexist of course and in 2019 will get us shut down
within seconds.
Muscle Time - Again, a bit close and potentially risqué.
Muscle Threads - A forum for apparel for larger individuals...

It's a difficult balancing act between making it clear that we
are the natural migration site for ex-MT'ers, with the the same
ethos regarding rules etc., many of the old mod team, ...but not
going so far as to suggest an affiliation with MT
I quite like MT Lives, but I can see why if we do flourish, we'd
need our own identity and branding. I wonder if we could get
away with using a similar, but different name to Muscletalk, and
use drastically different graphics to differentiate? i.e
"Muscletalkers" or "TalkMuscle" or something?
Whatever we do, I think we should work with Jason to make sure
he is happy we are not "clashing" with his brand, he might see
problems that we miss, and I'd far rather we nip these in the
bud that sew seeds of ill feeling without realising it.

You should pull Jason and David across to get them help with
building he forum ;)
I hope they put a link on MT to the new forum even if it says '
a lot of members have departed to new forum etc'
I dont think people will stop posting , but we need to pull in
as many old members as possible.
