Stop being lazy ultra fun time 2019

Hello
I'm going to keep a log on here to hold my self accountable and
keep my self motivated.
I'm down from 101kg to 96kg in the last month, did a 10k run a
few weeks back but hated it so now returning to weight lifting
after a few years off.
Aim to lose weight and get in decent shape (as in not pear).

Hiya,
Used to lurk on the website, found this link through facebook.
In the past whenever I've lifted it has always been for
strength. My weight has always shot up I'd get injured and then
just turn to fat. This time will be different
I have kettle bells, squat rack, barbell
I'm going to ease into training and will be focusing on volume.
No program yet but will put a plan of action together over the
coming weeks. Rough outline will include Squats, OHP, Kettle
bells maybe some form of dead lift.

Cheers for the warm welcome.
Yes nails a home gym user, but definitely not as an elaborate
setup as your scaffolding construction.
I'm currently sh*tting through the eye of the needle so training
will be delayed. Going to use this time to come up with a proper
program

May I recommend stronglifts 5x5. It will get you on your feet
fast and solid builder.
Once you are able to squat safely of course lol
